So many other RH's have their own threads... I searched but couldn't find one for the Woodlands... are there even enough of us on here to have an official Woodlands thread???

I decided to add the list of 2010 Woodlands Brides... there aren't many of us!!!

isnt the cake tasting open to everyone? i was told that sunday's event is a regular bridal show that will have all the cake optionns available

im not talking about that cake testing event. I have my tasting and menu selection on Wednesday next week and that includes picking my cake.

btw i never got invited to that cake tasting event though....thats weird that some people got it and others didnt.

Has anyone heard anything about MissyAstoria??? I just searched for her profile and her last post was 16 days before her wedding and it looks like she deleted all of the info in her account...

no helen told me about it i think in january. i got this fancy invite in the mail like 2 weeks ago and i actually got an email about it too. thats the one i posted before. she said that they will be offereing all of the types of cakes and fillings there. she said that they are changing the way they do things so Kelley maybe they already had you locked into the traditional way. im jealous... but i cant wait to hear about your tasting!

i got the invite like last week in the mail but never got an email. it's just a bridal show and i called today to RSVP and the girl on the phone told me she *thinks* they'll have all the cake flavors available. she didn't sound too sure though...

in other news i found out through FB that a girl I went to highschool with and was friends with in highschool got married at the woodlands in january. her pics (from what she had posted) look amazing and she said everything was top notch!!

Hi ladies!!! All this talk about cakes on the boards has me wondering...what will your cake be like? Also has anyone actually tasted the cakes at the woodlands???

I've tasted the cakes at the last bridal showcase - and the rest of the desserts and it was yummy

Ooo Thanks!!!! I don't remember seeing any example cakes so I guess I always assumed the Woodlands will make whatever style you want.. Hmm.. I need to find this out.

I got an invite a few weeks ago - but I already told Helen I'll be there. Are any one else going to the Showcase? Yes it is a bridal showcase but they changed their rules - the cake tasting will not be provided for during our food taste which bites....so we'll have to go to this showcase to try the cake flavors...
Was there anything she didn't like about the woodlands?

Yea I got the formal fancy invite last week. I'm going with FH and his family and my parents! I went to one of these before. They have all their vendors and you can try someof the passed appetizers from what I remember. Last time they had all the cakes and frosting combos to sample!

also open bar! haha

I was also wondering abotu MissyAstoria!! I wanted to hear a review!!!
