So many other RH's have their own threads... I searched but couldn't find one for the Woodlands... are there even enough of us on here to have an official Woodlands thread???

Hi ladies!! Just curious, are any of you opting to use different color of linens. I really wanted white flowers but I think white on white is just too much!!

I asked about the pricing but I find it ridiculous to spend that type of money on linens. It would be nice but I think I can live with out it. I think they said around $10-$20 per table

I am pretty sure we are going to stick with the white even though our centerpieces are white as well. The room is pretty dark with all the wood and yellow wallpaper and heavy curtains - so I think the white will still stand out.

We had are tasting in April and it was GREAT! Our waiter was very nice and my family really liked the food. By the time the cake tasting came - no one was hungry enough to want to try it.

glad you liked your food tasting - what did you end up choosing for your menu? yes we were stuffed as well...yours is almost here in a little over a month :)

For the first course combo plate, we picked:

Roasted pear salad with mesclun greens, cashews, gorgonzola, and white balsamic

Entrees -

Filet mignon with truffled potato mash, spinache saute, and red wine butter sauce

Chilean sea bass with lobster fricasse, smoked tomato relish, whipped potatoes and spinach saute

Pan seared chicken breast with roasted garlic, lemon jus, potato mash, spinach saute and olive tapenade

We also made some changes to the cocktail hour and dessert - if you want to see that too - I will send you FM.

What did you pick?

we picked the roasted pear first course combo plate

filet mignon w/ bacon scallion potatoes etc.

chicken w/ the gnocchi

sea bass

red velvet cake cream cheese filling buttercream frosting

sorry i don't have the menu on me, hence4 the shady descriptions lol
