So many other RH's have their own threads... I searched but couldn't find one for the Woodlands... are there even enough of us on here to have an official Woodlands thread???

I decided to add the list of 2010 Woodlands Brides... there aren't many of us!!!

I am so upset!!!! I just looked at my work calendar and I have a stupid New Jersey Continuing Legal Education seminar in NEWARK from 6-10pm on 10/22!!!!! My firm paid for it and I need the credits and it's non-refundable. I have no choice. ARGH!

That stinks!!! You're going to miss out on the crab cakes!!!!

I cannot make it, but you can RSVP to them. I think a couple of other girls are going.

I have been to one... I was going to go to this one but it looks like FH will be out of town again... Nicole called me so I just told her then and there we will be attending, I'll probably just bring my sister/MOH now... she hasn't seen it yet... but you could probably just email them.

Is it worth going? What usually happens in the expo? I'm thinking of asking some of my bridal party to go with me - you think that's a good idea?

I just talked to a guy at work who said he went to a wedding at the Woodlands this past Sunday. He said it was amazing!! He said the food was delicious (he had the sea bass) but said all the food was soo good. and he said the place was beautiful and service was great!

i love hearing good things about the woodlands so i just thought i would share it with you ladies!

yea! I love hearing good things about the woodlands! I live pretty close to the woodlands so I will prob be attending the showcase with my mom. FH works in jersey and there is no way he can be there in time for it. Did anyone attend the last one?? Remember all the desserts! Yum!

the desserts were awesome! last time, FH and my dad hung around there the whole night. at tthe end of the night, she gave us 2 huge boxes of leftover pastries!

Hi, I'm new to the board. I visited the Woodlands this weekend, and I'm in love with it! I thought this would be the appropriate place to announce that. It was our first RH visit, and my fiance and I just get a *feeling* about it. Nicole was so accomodating. I will probably be at the expo with my mother.

yay thats great!!! same thing happened for us....it was the first place we visited and we just knew it was the place for us!!

I love the woodlands and am hoping to be a woodlands bride (despite all the sprinkler stuff..still a little scary though)!!!

But....the only reason FH and havn't booked yet is because we are not sure if we will hit the min. Did anyone have any luck getting them to lower the min on a friday night???

we are having our wedding on a friday night. when we booked the price we were quoted was with no minimum. we ended up getting them to lower the price if we guaranteed 175 (which was fine bc we planned to have that many anyway). but i am pretty sure regularly there isnt a minimum on a friday....at least not when i booked back in Oct 08

There's a min. during the summer months - originally our min. was 125 but we got them to lower the price but had to have a min. of 150 for Friday - this is for a 2010 rate, not sure about 2011.
