So many other RH's have their own threads... I searched but couldn't find one for the Woodlands... are there even enough of us on here to have an official Woodlands thread???

We're planning on having our ceremony on site - hopefully (weather permitting) - we won't have any decorations - except for an aisle runner that our limo company is providing us. If you decorate the ceremony - I think you'll take away its beauty. But not sure how it'll look in the wintertime outdoors. Our wedding's in the summer...so hopefully it'll be outdoors.

does anyone know who will be at the showcase tomorrow? is it the usual vendors that alwasy go? and BTW why dont i ever get emails from the woodlands a bout these showcases?

I know that Royalty Limos will be there. Since Camelot Limos said they were at the last one in September. I got an email from someone from The Woodlands a few days ago. Are you planning on going tomorrow? Is it really worth going? I mean I'm done vendor shopping...but I wanted to show my girls the place before the event and take pictures of what else I would need.
I heard that if your FH's attend - they can go to the sports bar for beer and watch the game... FH wants to go try their foods...

i went to one already, i just wanted to meet with a certain DJ. FH and my dad had a blast at the last one!

I soooo wish I was going but I will be in new jersey tomorrow night for a mandatory course (continuing legal education) and I can't get out of it.

I will be going with my mom and sister. FH works in NJ and can't make it. I went to the last one and evey though I already booked major vendors I still want to go! You get to try all the CH foods and I like being there! haha

Hey Woodlands girls! I don't know if anyone saw it, but that poor girl who had the sprinkles turned on at her ceremony was on the ABC news last night. They told her story and showed the video of when the sprinklers turned on. I'm not having my ceremony there but anyone who is should def check with them about what they are doing to make sure it doesn't happen again!

Is anyone doing any type of up lighting?? I like the idea of just doing a few amber lights but I really don't want to ruin the natural beauty of the woodlands.

i talked about it with a few DJ's and they said that woodlands doesnt really need it. i think if you're going to do it, definitely go with amber.

we called Melanie to ask her about this incident after the bride came on LIW and posted about it (before we saw the abc thing). Melanie said it did happen but told us the Woodlands side of the story. I think the brides story is somewhat truthful but clearly the abc story is edited to be a little more dramatic since its for tv. Regardless, Melanie reassured us that the Woodlands has made several steps to ensure that this doesnt happen again.
i feel like its terrible this happened to this bride but freak things like this can happen anywhere and i feel confident the woodlands has been working on this problem.
