Hey Girls,

I've debating on the centerpieces - any ideas?

I'm not into flowers as much since they are so costly and I'm on a budget - I'm planning to do candles in some type of glasses/vases that I found in Ikea.

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80094014 (3 of these glasses with either tealights or votives)
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00017133 (1 of these vases in the middle being surrounding by the other glasses with either a pillar candle or some flower arrange that's very simple and CHEAP)

and sprinkle some purple and creme rose petals

What do you think? Is it too plain? I'm thinking I'm missing something.

Hi all! I'm still debating on the CP's. We just booked w/ Woodlands last week (we previously had a different RH) so I haven't had time to really think about it yet. But I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is going to the oct. showcase? (besides Gina )

I'm a Woodlands Bride too and I couldn't be more excited! I'm not til 2011 tho - a million years away! I was thinking about going to the showcase on 10/22 with my fam since FH has a bunch of tests to study for. This may be a stupid question, but what do you wear to these things? Do you have to get dressed up?

I just spoke to The Woodlands, there is a $10.00 donation to attend which goes to a charity, she told me but I don't remember which one.

I will def be there on the 22nd! I can't wait to taste some of the food!

I've never been to an expo before so I'm not sure what most people wear, I don't think you have to get dressed up though. I will be going straight from work.

i went to one last fall and i just wore jeans and a nice top. You don't have to be dressed up

Hi Woodland brides! I am just starting the research for my reception hall. I was wondering if any of you could give me an idea of what the Woodlands runs per person on a Sunday night on August. It looks like a gorgeous venue but I'd like to have a better idea of price before I go and look.

I am so upset!!!! I just looked at my work calendar and I have a stupid New Jersey Continuing Legal Education seminar in NEWARK from 6-10pm on 10/22!!!!! My firm paid for it and I need the credits and it's non-refundable. I have no choice. ARGH!
