I'm putting 'The Woodlands' too. I actually was wondering the same thing.

Hi guys-

Since my last post about the condition of the carpets in the bathroom, there have been many changes...

Not only have the ladies bathroom carpeting been redone but they replaced the carpeting in the men's room as well.

Everyone was so helpful and understanding about this, especially our coordinator Margaret. She has consistently responded to our emails right away and has never made us feel like we were bugging her. She has been awesome.

I was there recently for our tasting and there is even a new dance floor! It looks amazing.

I think its pretty great that we're getting married at a place where the staff is so responsive and proactive about our concerns. It makes me feel very relaxed about the day of our wedding. I feel like they handle things so well.

Everything looks great and I cant wait to have my wedding there in 2 months!

Yay! Thanks for the update. I saw the new carpet in the ladies bathroom and I'm glad to hear the men's carpet was replaced as well. I knew they polished the wood floors, but I wasn't sure if the dance floor was brand new or not. It did look great! Margaret has been wonderful to us as well.

We're also getting something from the florist.
I'm thinking of something with branches and flowers, not sure exactly yet. We are using Pedestals as well!

Did anyone who had/has their wedding in May, June or July hear from the Woodlands about a tasting? I'm July 16th... I'm going to contact them about it because we are now less than 10 weeks away!

do you girls know what beers they serve?

when we booked i was told there were like 5 diff kinds and they'd get 2 additional ones for us of our choosing (which we loved bc FH is a beer snob) and now when I just called to ask a few ?s they said its only 3

Oh wow. Ours is 8/20 and I didn't realize the tasting occurs only once a month. The June tasting is booked, so we have to go in July. I also think they should be contacting us about this! I would have preferred to go earlier.

I also just found out that they are taxing the 20% service charge, which I didn't think they did.

FYI Our wedding is 7/16 and no one contacted me about doing a tasting, I contacted them and it was set up for 6/22....ok but quite a lot closer than I thought it would be...now it was pushed back to the 28th, basically 2.5 weeks before the wedding. Fortunately I am super easy going but I wanted to let you all know to CONTACT them early about your tasting!!!

Oh wow. Ours is 8/20 and I didn't realize the tasting occurs only once a month. The June tasting is booked, so we have to go in July. I also think they should be contacting us about this! I would have preferred to go earlier.

I also just found out that they are taxing the 20% service charge, which I didn't think they did.

Definitely call early to set yours up!

That would be awesome! Its Tuesday August 9th, just so you know. My FH's schedule is crazy too and thats why I would have liked more options...he's going to have to take off from work for this but the one is July he wouldn't have had to. Not the end of the world, but its important for people to know to call ahead.

I pass The Woodlands every morning on my way to work, and today I noticed a new sign at the entrance to The Woodlands. Its really nice, especially since the old one was really faded from the sun. YAY!!
