I like this thread. I'm having a friend of the family do the make up and I'm just doing trials in the stores to see what colors I like. I hope we can reproduce the same look. I ran out of time to look for make up and the wedding is in 3 days!!

The planning is coming along fine....i just discovered the beauty that is Michael's Craft Store....I will be living there from now on.....

I just read all the pages of this thread.. WHEW!! It was allot of information & very helpful. My wedding isn't until '09 but my RH is booked & I'll continue to update this thread. I would like to have my hair in microbraids, curled with a tiara & veil... anyone have any pics?

Hi Kisha - Did you ever find a steel band? I'm thinking about using Adlib Steel Band from Freeport. I heard them at wedding almost 2 years ago. I think they send you about 6 people.

HEY...I AM ACTUALLY HAVING A STEEL DRUM BAND FOR MY COCKTAIL HOUR, AND IN THE MIXX DJ'S HAS IT....I CAN'T WAIT!!

The steel band sound nice....i'm already having entertainment at my wedding (Polish folk dancers), so i won't be doing the steal band...but that would be really exciting
