Hi Ladies,

I am new to the thread and I am getting married in April '08. Any tips about bridal boutiques where I can find a nice dress for about $1500? I have less than a year but still a lot of planning to do so any advise about anything will be much appreciated.

hi mee too. and we're date twins

i got my dress from Alisa's Bridal on E59th and Flatland's. It's in the area of South Shore HS. My dress was about $1300 b4 taxes.

Thanks, date twin! I know where that is because I went to Canarsie HS. That sounds like a good price. Are you having a day or evening wedding? Big wedding or small? Any tips on a good DJ?

We are having an evening wedding with about 100 people. I am excited. Are you using a wedding planner? I guess I may call Ultimate Sounds to get a quote. It doesn't hurt. I think most of these DJ sites come off a little cheesy but maybe it doesn't necessarily speak to the type of work they do.
