How many of us are getting married at the RH? The reason I am asking is because I have too many in my family who are different religions and My family is all about the drama so I am getting married at the RH just so I don't have to listen and have the service I want.

This is a great list!
I was thinking of using Jennifer Hudson's song for our 1st dance.
Anything you'd recommend for walking into the church and leaving the church?
My BP Party is walking into The Wedding Song by CeCe Winans and I'm walking in to I Need You by Shekinah Glory.
I love Canon in D if you just want an instrumental.

Deciding where to have to ceremony is the most immportant thing fo us now. I want to have it in a church but FH would rather the reception hall.

I want to walk in to 'angel eyes' by robin thicke and our first song is 'fortunate' by maxwell. He is my all time favorite artist and i had to incorporate him into my wedding. Another favorite of mine is 'you ' by Jesse Powell. We are getting married at the RH. Our families are different religions so it was just easier. Also cuts the cost of limos

As for getting married at the RH, boy was that a topics I never want to hear again. So I understand I am doing the same thing. The good news is all the things I like for my ceremony can be done at the RH. E.g. current music through out the whole ceremony on string will sound great and no one can say they didn't like it because they couldn't hear the words.

Re: Official African American Brides Thread
Hi guys!So glad I found this thread!!!
Getting married next September in Huntington LI and already beginning to freak out about the details.
One of my biggest concern is Hair and Make-up.
I read the Bridalgal.com reviews on this thread and it definitely seems like an option but it is pricey. If I do my entire bridal party that's over $2000! Yikes.
Anyone know of any good hair people that are familiar with not relaxed African American hair?
Best,
Somi
