Me! Just finished booking most of my vendors.
So when you booked they told you the new lighting was included? They sent me a letter about it but I wasn't sure if it cost extra.

yeah.. they said that they just finished installing them but didn't mention anything about them being extra.
They told me about the lighting when he was showing us the room.

I got the impression from the letter that it would be extra, but I honestly didn't pay much attention. If it's included, awesome. If not, not spending more money there. It was my splurge as it is!

They are jumping on the band wagon and adding in colored lighting against the walls of the reception room. It could be set to any color you want.

Cool. I need to stop in there the next time I am home (I live in CA now) to check all of the new things out. My band has different lighting packages, so I am going to have to figure out what we may want.

I'm a Carlyle bride! :) woohoo! We were told the lighting would cost extra but since we're having an afternoon wedding we didn't see the need for it.

I have a topic...does anyone else think that the chairs in the ballroom are a bit dated looking? I think they could be updated with a more neutral pattern, some lighter earth tones or something would be nice. I am thinking of switching them out for some silver Chivari chairs to match my colors.

the one with the flower pattern on the chairs? I vaguley remember them.
So i spoke with someone and yes... the lighting is extra but someone said don't even worry about it till right before the wedding cuz the price will probably come down. Any idea of how much it is? I def want it but it might be cheaper for me to get it through the DJ. not sure
