That's the one thing that concerns me about Deseversky, there seems to be so many things we're not aware of, and of course cost extra!

Yes, we are planning on going to the V-Day brunch and taking our mother's to the Mother's Day brunch as well. :) So excited....love the food everytime I go :)

We ended up not going b/c it was actually on that Sunday the day of that blizzard. :(
I just had some problems with my bill. I was due for my second installment. My dad called up and spoke to Yyvette to pay over the phone with his credit card on 2/6. They charged him and we thought that was it. Well, they forgot to log it that we did indeed pay, so I was bombarded with phone calls from them requesting my second payment. It was nuts...I was calling them everyday until they realized that yes, we did pay on time, actually earlier then we were supposed to. They never logged it. I learned, always get a reciept from them. I will be paying all bills in person from now on.

I think she works with Debbie, as an assistant. Everytime I call and ask for Debbie, Yvette handles it. It is okay when I have a quick question, but billing,,,hmmmm...better stick with Debbie.
Smooth is not their middle name.

I know what you mean. My experiences thus far have made me extremely nervous and I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything turns out ok. I am sure it will though.

You better believe I did!! She is my saving grace...but at the same time, she doesn't control what goes on there. I am using Francesca from Dazzling Affairs and she is great.

Hi! I'm planning to have my wedding at the De Seversky Center in August this year. I’m really excited about the location but the many recommendations that I’m read here about hiring a wedding coordinator have got me interviewing some of the very ones that have been mentioned. Hey we are getting married at DeSeversky in August as well. We hired Rosalie to be our DOC. We met with her back in Sept and she was really nice, very professional, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend giving her a call. I have not talked to her much since the day I met her but that is basically because I am always busy between work and grad school. Plus you can hire her either as a wedding planner or just for the day and that is what I opted to do. I think for the type of location DeSeversky having a DOC is a great idea. Besides being really nice, her package is a great. She does a lot that day and at your rehearsal for the amount she charges. If you have any question feel free to ask me. Good Luck!

Congrats!!!! Welcome to the official deseversky thread! There are a lot of us getting married there this spring/summer on the thread so this will be a fun planning time.
I second Rosalie! Since booking her, she has answered numerous questions I have asked, and she is such a sweet person who truly loves what she does. You should give her a call quickly because she is a popular cordinator.

Spring/Summer brides where are you at with the planning? What fun things are you going to do at Deseversky???
I am just sending out my STD. All major vendors booked. Next on the list: ceremony mucisians.
Also, has anyone talked with Debbie regarding where the ceremony can take place outside? (besides the courtyard)
