What size did everyone order in KPs as compared to their street clothes.

My consultant took my measurements which were accurate as I had measured myself that morning (and did so again last night so I am holding steady) and compared them to the sizing charts and ordered me a size 2!! I am a size 2 in real-life street clothes and always heard wedding dresses run very very small.

My sister had a size 10 Lazaro wedding dress and is no where near a size 10 in real life, maybe a size 6.

So, how do KP's run? Am I going to be screwed when the dress arrives and is way too small.

yeah wedding dresses are gonna be a bigger number than your street clothes. when i ordered my dress i was about a 4-6 street clothes, so she said that would be size 8 for me but bc of my breast i had to order a larger size, a 10 so this way it can fit and then she said when they get it in they'll take it in on the waist and everywhere else so it can fit properly...Do you remember your measurements...i am 37, 27, 37...maybe go by that...but ive seen other girls on LIW who are very thin and wear a 0 or 2 and their dresses were a little bit bigger.

I am 33-25-34 and 5'2' tall. They compared it to a chart and the chart said I was a size 2, but I am a 2 in real clothes so this seemed small to me!

They ordered me a size 8, It will definately be a little big, as i fit into the sample 6 but my measurements were a perfect size 8 they said.

They told me my dress will be in first week in february

I have to pick up the swatch of fabric so i can get my shoes to match!!!!
and maybe even a veil to match too!

Are any of the KP brides getting accessories by KP or Amsale? Is there even such a thing??? I am going to make an appointment at Amsale to go in and try on my KP Aria dress again and I wonder if I should ask about accessories.

ALOT of designers will custom make a veil for you but ive never seen any headpieces by them and dont think there are any, at least ive never seen it. What accessories exactly are you talking about?

Ooo a 3rd one to add to the list hahaha...Its a GORGEOUS dress!!! besides my own dress of course for me that dress is one of my favorites

Yeah wasn't it also on real housewives of orange county? but does anyone know what dress she decided on, i saw the commercials for her wedding and couldn't tell whichone it was.

Hi ladies! I'm new to the forum and I am also a KP Bride!!!!! I was soo excited when I found this thread! I ordered the Degas dress a few months ago, and it should be arriving in April! I can't wait, I think it is absolutely beautiful...and it seems like I have a couple of dress twins out there :)

I had gained some weight before ordering the dress, so I anticipate the dress being a size or two too big once it comes in....do you ladies think they will have a problem altering it that much?

taking in a dress is easy and they do it all the time...its when its too small and getting extra fabric to make it bigger that is hard...you should have no problem

This dress is beautiful, very contemporary.....BUT....Your dress is beautiful too !!!! I don't let myself look at dresses anymore....I can't even decide what I am going to wear in the morning, I have no idea how I made up my mind about a wedding dress!

I have even stopped looking at bridal magazines. So far so good, I still think my dress is the one...we will see how I feel when it actually comes in sometime in April.
