As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...
I don't know which SInatra singer you saw at NRC, but if I may out in my 2 cents, my sis had one who was amazing, Jim Altamore (I think). And I think it was about $400 for him to sing during dinner.

Great, we really need another review!! And if anyone goes there soon, if you have a digital camera, could you take pictures of the renovations and post, that would be great, by the way is anyone working with Christina??

I think you girls will be really happy with the work they've done. I love going out there to drop off $$ just so I can see what they've done. My fiance thinks I'm crazy!

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
Whats the deal with these tasting dates, how do you hear about them, do they designate them by the date of your event? I thought everyone schedules their own tasting at NRC, I didn't know they have tastings with groups of brides, how does this work? As you can see I don't really go there or call them on a regular basis I guess when I'm down to like 3 months I will be bugging them every week, haha .....

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
Before I signed my contract with Ida we told her we would want to taste the food because I didn't know anyone that had been there before and the food is so important! So we went to a tasting on a Wednesday at 4:00. There were a bunch of brides there and each group sat at their own table. We tried a bunch of the appetizers, the salads, and most of the entrees. They bring the sauces out separately and some chicken, 2 types of salmon and steak - this way you can mix and match the sauces with each. All of the food was excellent. If you want to go to a tasting I would recommend calling them and asking for one - atleast you get a free meal out of it!

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
BCTM, can you still get a tasting closer to your wedding date though? I think Jennnie had told me that if you have a tasting early on, that you won't be able to have one closer to your wedding.
Anyway girls, I went to the NRC today and I took digital pics of the waterfall and the new lobby renovations. I really liked the waterfall!!!
Hmm, I am not a big fan of the new addition to the lobby. I guess I will have to see it in person.
Also, I am going for a tasting April 28. Christina did not mention to me that I can't go closer to my wedding if I go to this one. I can't imagine why they would say that. Oh well, we shall see when it gets closer to my wedding what they say, b/c I definitely want another chance to sample the food.

Hmmmm, I'm not loving that new addition either. Is it a bar? Are they going to get window treatments for that window? What is in those picture frames on the shelves? Please don't tell me their family members! lol. Looks like I am going to have to pay a visit to NRC and check out all the changes.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I went there today to pick up direction cards and while I liked the outside, I HATED the lobby.
The desk is large and intrusive and it takes away from the homey feel the place had before. I really don't understand the purpose of it. All the offices are upstairs....I was VERY disappointed!
FI said, 'Will people be there answering phones and working during our wedding???'
Christina said, 'Oh it comes out so nice in pictures, it makes the place look like a mansion!' Personally, I don't see it....it's an eyesore

They told me that you can put your own pictures on the desk to make it more personal...

I have not heard one person say they liked the change to the lobby - I don't see the purpose of it.....But the waterfall looks nice - it will be great for pics!
