As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...
I asked Laurie to take those pictures this past Saturday, because I met with her and she told me she had a wedding there so she would take pics of the renovations everyone has been talking about. Some girl not from LI weddings had her even there. Unfortunately the week after I meet with Laurie, she met with someone else who booked her for my date, so I couldn't book with her.

I'm not a big fan of the flower arrangement for the placecard table - to be honest, I don't like fake flowers. For my placecard table I am having a tall vase with flowers to match my centerpieces.

I totally agree... but I dont feel like paying for another arrangement - maybe we can hide that THING somewhere and do something creative with the table

I didnt like the flower arrangement either. I put framed pictures of our parents, grandparents and siblings weddings and that tookt the focus off the table.

I think the arrangement is nice, but the only thing is that if your flowers are not that color it throws everything off, I was thinking about having my florist create a nice tall piece for that table with real flowers that match my flowers.

I am a little sad though b/c we are way under our minimum. I still haven't heard from a bunch of people but we had so many no's (most of our invites were out of town)
I am going to talk to them about it when we go there though.

Our minimum is 180. We have 146 yes' so far. I am guessing with the pending invites, we will maybe have about 165.
I am going to be 15 people UNDER!

Robeymuse - I would definitely talk to them about it. Maybe they could include your band members / dj towards your minimum?? (That is if they aren't NRC house vendors because I think they eat free anyway)... Good luck and please keep us updated!!!

We asked about that before we booked - they told us that they will count vendors toward your minimum if you fall short.
