As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. they call you two months before your wedding date to go for the menu. fh and i still haven't made an appt. to go yet. i'm still waiting to hear back from Jenny b/c we can only go on a Monday and she said that they usually only do menu consultations on Tuesdays.

Oh we did ours on a Saturday! I guess b/c we are OOT though.

has anyone picked out their menu yet? i went for the tasting today and everything was yummy! i think we will have the filet mignon with the shitake sauce, the chilean sea bass with the mango and papaya salsa (if it is still available) and the chicken with lemon sauce. if the chilean sea bass is not available, then we will go with the salmon with horseradish crust and chive sauce.
Did anyone else not like the Salmon? My whole family disliked it ...I esp. was not a fan of the crust. I hope we can get the sea bass

I'm going for my menu next week, I want the chilean sea bass, what did you girls think of the papaya-mango salsa....is it too sweet? my tasting was so long ago that I forgot!
The place looks more and more beautiful everytime I see it (except the lobby )! thanks for the pics....

Were you at the tasting in April? If so, then I think my table wsa next to yours! I liked the Salmon! And I thought the mango-papaya sauce was really yummy, not overly sweet in my opinion.
edt: do you remember what all of the sauces were called? I know they put out 5 on the table. i remember the mango-papaya, shitake, porcini, lemon dill (for salmon) and there was one more. It had a lemony taste to it.

Don't forget the baby lobster sauce! That is one of my favorites! We did our tasting a couple of months ago and pretty much decided to have the filet mignon w/porcini sauce, chicken w/ tuscany sauce, tilapia w/ baby lobster sauce. YUM! I'm hungry!!!
I am having a carrot cake w/ cream cheese icing.

The minimum for a Saturday night in May is about 200. The minimum on a Friday night should be lower. If you really like the place, I am sure they'll be willing to work with you. Definitely go check it out.

The tuscany sauce was a light sauce, it is kind of hard to explain - it was kind of yellow in color....

I remember the mango sauce was soooo good. I dont remember any other names tho, but its seems like everyone else did ... I went with my FI and parents in March, but they sat us pretty much by ourselves.

The menu was the same as it was 2 years ago except they added the talapia with baby lobster sauce..
I picked my menu tonight and the Viennese sounded sooo good. They had a showcase there, but I don't know for which band...
