As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...

FH and I went to see NRC yesterday. We both LOVED IT! It was the first place that we saw that we both felt was 'us'. Unfortunately, it was more $$$ than the other places we were looking at. We are doing a Friday night - they gave us a great price in March 2005 but I am so afraid of snow! But Fridays in May go up by $20pp. I don't know what to do!!! Does anyone know how their pricing is in April as compared to May/June? Will any of the flowers be in bloom by April? We are going to talk to Ida today and see what she can do for us.

I drove past there the other night and I noticed that you can't see the signs that say 'North Ritz Club' I am surprised the don't have a spotlight on the name so people could see it.

O WOW!! That's funny that they are a vendor on here now! I never see them advertise in magazines or anything--they really don't have too. they are booked into 2006. I was there on Friday to make our last payment before the wedding and I just fall in love with it again every time I go. Jennie is incredible to work with. I feel like it is my home! I can't wait!!

hey there past NRC brides,

does the NRC give out menus or do you have to make your own? what about placecards? also i was wondering about the bridal suite-is there a lock on the door or a code key to get in? thanks for all of your help!

You have to make your own menus or get them made, they make the placecards. Hey are there any new reviews?? Please post, Anyone know about NRC wedding cake, how is it? Did you girls end up getting the cake from an outside bakery?

I am new the the LIweddings board. We are getting married 11/13 at NRC and I am really excited.

Also, how did your wedding cakes work at NRC - do they let you show them a design you like or do you have to work with their design?

Im going for my tasting on March 19 with my parents and FILs. I will let you know how it went, but from what Ive read here the food is amazing.

Amy - did you ask for the tasting? By going to the tasting now - does that mean you wont have a tasting closer to the wedding? I'm a bit confused how that works - FH adn I booked without a tasting...

I just book The North Ritz Club this weekend for April 16, 2005!
I am so excited!

They told me they are going to stop doing tastings. Has anyone been to one?
