Im looking for limos now. So far Ive gotten, my dress, the bridesmaid dresses, reception hall, church, photographer, videographer and band. Im not sure where we are going for our honeymoon yet--but we are looking at places in the Caribbean...got any suggestions?

I'm in pretty good shape. Next is the invitations I guess and to start my trials. So far I have:

I'm going to look for BM dresses and I'm not 100% sure on the color. I'm thinking Chocolate Brown BUT may change my mind? Do you think I should hold off on booking florist if I'm not sure what kind/color flowers I'll need.

Out of my major vendors I still need to book DJ and Florist. Also need to order Invites. We just sent out our STD's this past weekend.
(I wasn't going to do STD's but my mom insisted being that its a holiday weekend - apparently Veterans Day is going to be observed on 11/10 this year - WHO KNEW)!

my BM dresses are chocolate brown!! great color! most of the florists i met with didn't need to know colors to give me an estimate, just what kinds of flowers i wanted....I know at Burtons he didn't even need to know what kind of flowers I wanted to give an estimate!

Oooo, actually, Burtons was the first florist I was going to check out (per a friend's advice). Are you going with them?
Also, with chocolate brown dresses.. what color were you thinking? I was thinking ivory w. maybe some pink in there? I'm not too good w. flowers so I'll definitely need guidance! lol

Finishing up with BM dresses and have them ordered my end of April. I am either going with the colors Merlot, Ruby, light brown or Grape with Ruby Red. Not sure yet..

I am in the process of ordering my shoes from this great website a friend told me about which are dyeable.

I still need to go for my makeup/hair trial waiting for someone to get back to me on an appt.
I still need my undergarments.. that's really about it..and we are most likely going to Aruba for our HM! YAY

I'm getting married in the afternoon. My RH is right on the beach so the views are beautiful and I thought it would be a waste if we got married at night and you couldn't see how pretty it is.

I am doing chocolate brown, ivory and sage green as an accent color. the girls are wearing brown and their boks are ivory. my bok will hopefully look like this pick....
i ended up not going with burtons, but i have heard great things about them!

That is THE most gorgeous bouquet I have ever seen!!!!!!! I am going to steal that if you don't mind!!! I am also doing choc brown BM dresses...and my dress is ivory with a champagne colored sash...I think those BQ's would be so perfect. Did you say that will be your BQ or your BM's???

Limos aren't a huge deal for me b/c I just need it to take us from my parents house to the place...that's it. Ceremony and reception are at same location.

I am looking for nice and simple invites...do not want to spend a fortune but don't want something cheesy and cheap looking. Anyone have any good ideas for me???

Kande - I am at the Invite part of my list too.. I don't want to spend a fortune either..I will do some investigating if I find anything I will let you know. :) Anyone else have invite places we could consider?
