I get married 6 months from today!!!!! I feel so emotional about it. Anyway, I finally booked a hair and makeup trial with Georgous Faces for next week and may go looking for invitations this weekend. So some progress is being made so I don't feel so bad about doing nothing lately. I think I may also go shoe shopping this weekend too!! At least that's fun.

Same as you! We're finishing up the ordering of the BM dresses this weekend. Next up: invites & flowers. I still have NO idea what I want for CP's!

Hi November girls!

I feel like I'm at a bit of a standstill. Need to still figure out our limo situation, but other than that all major vendors are booked. Ordered bridesmaid dresses...just waiting on one girl to order before it is officially done. This weekend I am going dress shopping with one of my flower girls.

I think we are going the DIY route for invites, so I've shopped around for sample papers and need to start doing a mock up to make sure we can actually do this!

Other than that, I'm starting to think about other DIY projects, but not really working on anything.

What I should be doing is getting my butt to the gym! The fact that we are six months out is officially freaking me out.

going sat to pick out BP dresses, Starting Photo box, and bathroom baskets. Thinking about other DIY projects. Also Invites and Flowers.

I know! The 6mth mark is REALLY getting me nervous about getting my BUTT into shape! I'm actually doing the Wedding Ready program at NYSC, its a 12 week program so I'm going to start at the beginning of July (hope I dont use that as an excuse NOT to exercise until then!!! HEE HEE)!

I know what you mean about a standstill. I had a very productive day today but now am not sure what else needs to be done besides invites.

I ordered our favors today. We finally decided on doing the donation favor the the Komen BC Foundation and these cool little red Apple-shaped candles I found online.

I ordered my veil and my girls are all set to order their dresses. I found the shoes I want and am getting them tomorrow (I changed from my original ones because they kept sliding off my feet).

I think that's about it! I'm still working on attendant gifts but I already have an idea of what I want to do.

All major vendors are booked and that means I met the goal I wanted of having everything done for the most part 6 mos before...which is tomorrow!

I know what you mean!!!! I can't believe we are down to 6 Months!!!!! I'm ordering my invites on Monday.. I just want to get everything booked and done... And I started weight watchers again today... After my accident I gained alot of weight back, so now I have to get my butt back into shape!!!

Oh. I also started ordering the BM dresses.... Soon, I'm going to have to bring the FMIL shopping too I know I'm doing well on time, but I just feel like it's flying by!!

Hi girls....

Got one more thing done this weekend....we decided on our rabbi....thanks to habs!!! We are interfaith and already had our priest...using my priest I've known forever from my church growing up. Finding a rabbi was difficult...we love the one we are going with so glad to have that finalized!

Also ordered some BM dresses last week finally.....actually getting them from the Ann Taylor Celebrations section online....they just came out with chocolate brown colored dresses and I loved them so my sisters (MOH and BM) ordered basically every one to try out and we can just return the ones we don't want to go with to the store. Then when they decide - my 2 other BM's will place their order. I love ordering from a regular store like that - makes life so easy!!!

My BM's will most likely be wearing this dress...

PS - also had our first florist appt this weekend. Met with Signature Florist in Bellmore - a lot of brides on here use them. They seem to do great work. Still meeting with at least 2 more - probably 3. On a tight budget for flowers so really need to shop around and do my homework. I'm meeting with Flower Michele in a few weeks...really looking forward to meeting John!

Also received a sample invite I had ordered from notfromabox.com and I love it! I took pics of the actual sample - I like it better than the pics they have of it online. I think I'm gonna go with it. The color of the back cardstock would be in chocolate brown - goes with my colors. And I love the leaves - very subtle and not a big huge leaf at the top like I've seen on most fall themed invites I looked at....it's really nice in person - good quality. It's the first one in the attached pic...with the brown and leaves.

Oh and I also ordered part of my BM's gifts! They haven't arrived yet - looking forward to seeing them in person!

Yay!!!!

I have them picked out just not ordered yet. I can't believe this weekend, May will be half way over.

Yikes!!!! Everyone seems to be doing invites now. Is that what I should be working on...especially if I am going the DIY route?

This six month mark is really freaking me out.
