I am planning on doing my invitations this weekend. I am working Fri, Sat, and Mon, but I am hoping to do as much I can on Sunday as possible. I also want to get to the salons this weekend and buy my veil and tiara. Hopefully!!!

I'm not sure what we're going to do this weekend. I have a lot to do but, for most of it, I'm waiting to receive things back from some vendors (favor labels, boxes, etc). I picked up my veil today so I'm sure I'll go back to looking at hairstyles at some point. I feel like I should do something but have no idea what to do!

weekend plans consist of finally getting off my tush to find shoes and undergarments- considering that my first fitting is on Wednesday, ive decided that i should Maybe get moving... Maybe....

I'm not sure what we're going to do this weekend. I have a lot to do but, for most of it, I'm waiting to receive things back from some vendors (favor labels, boxes, etc). I'm at a COMPLETE standstill... frozen. I feel like I should be doing something and I just dont know what! lol. Since its rainy I guess I'll start pulling together some photos that I'm going to frame to put around the reception...

We got our first 4 RSVPs yesterday already! 3 yeses and 1 no. My ring is ready but we're waiting for FH's to be ready too and then we'll pick them both up. I scheduled my first fitting for Sept 15, final florist appt Sept 16th....it's all coming together!

I desperately need to figure out Bridesmaid gifts though. Anyone with a different idea?

Heather....Eric and I saw Lauren this weekend and she was saying how she can't believe how soon our wedding will be here...and that she got your invite and how beautiful it is So of course first thing we asked her is if she sent her response back and she laughed and said no...we yelled at her and told her how anxious we will be to get them back and told her 'why wait'...she said she never thought of it like that and that she's just a procrastonator and it will sit there until the week it's due back to you. So hopefully we lit a fire on her and she'll send it back soon!

We finally ordered FH's wedding band this weekend! I still need shoes and undergarments.

I got some of my undergarments this weekend and our invitations are going out soon!

YOU ROCK! Thanks! We've gotten about 15 RSVPs so far, but still haven't gotten from FMIL!!! And now I know I'll have Lauren's to look forward to as well!!

I still need undergarments too, but I don't know what to get! I'm just going to bring a regular strapless to my first fitting and see what they say. I did get a very cute pair of light blue undies to wear though :)

Edited to add that I also got my adorable 'Fall in Love' votives in the mail this weekend. They are so cute! I love them!

Oh glad your favors are cute...they look adorable!
I think I need one of those bustier strapless things...the regular strapless bras do nothing for me. I think the bustier one will give me more support. So I have to get one of those I think.

I already have all mine...try all the dept stores right now...everything is on sale. Macy's...Lord and Taylor, Bloomies, Nordstrom's...
Believe it or not - Lands End has some very cute floral prints and they are also on sale right now. They have nice quality bathing suits. I got a few from there. They don't have much left though - so check it out soon.

Believe it or not - Lands End has some very cute floral prints and they are also on sale right now. They have nice quality bathing suits. I got a few from there. They don't have much left though - so check it out soon.

Victoria's Secret online also has some really cute stuff at great prices. I got one from there and one from JCrew.

I just remembered I forgot to share what else I got done this weekend....well not me but it was stressing me out. My mom and FMIL both ordered their dresses finally!

I have a funny story - I felt like such a bridezilla for the first time. FMIL is telling myself and FH's aunt what 2 of the dresses she liked look like. She was saying she was going to definitely go with one of these dresses. She describes one and it sounds fine...then she describes the next one and I get the biggest knot in my stomach b/c the bottom skirt part to it was a pick-up bottom which is what the bottom of my dress is! So all of a sudden I'm picturing my FMIL and me in the same style dress and I wasn't happy! I ran it by my mom and sisters and they all agreed I had to tell her she just has to go with the other dress b/c she can't be in a dress so similar to mine. So I did tell her but I felt terrible but she was totally fine with it. She said she'll just go with the other dress she liked. I definitely think she was more leaning towards this one but oh well. She was laughing and saying she's so glad I told her b/c she would have had the worst reputation as the b!tch mother-in-law trying to upstage the bride! It turned out funny but I felt so bad about bringing it up and telling her she couldn't get it.

Awww! That's not Bridezilla-ish at all. I think we would have all had the same or a similar reaction.
