I found these beautiful glasses at the Lenox outlet out east on clearance (a set of 4 glasses for only $5) and their computer showed that they had 400 sets remaining, however when I ordered them I got a call the next day that they actually only have about 70 sets left . Oh well, I will have to keep looking.

That is such a head kill..keep searching and I am sure you will find something even better

I just did my menu today and I don't need to give a final head count until a week before the wedding.

had my first fitting today and unfortunately, it was accompanied with a bit of drama. My dress is ivory and when I ordered my viel (the day the dress came in and I went to try it on) they insisted that I need a diamond white veil because ivory would be too dark. Needless to say, I go today for my fitting and the friggin veil is wayyyyyy too white.

Now they're saying that I have to pay for another one and they don't even know if they can get it in on time. I don't think so, they're the ones that insisted it would be okay.

Good news is the dress looks great and I love the bustle the seamstress came up with.

i am sooo sorry that happened to you, but thanks for posting it, i am going for my first fitting tuesday, and i have not yet gotten a veil but will be sure to not let them talk me into anything but an ivory veil

I wouldn't pay for ANY of the veils... they're the ones that talked you into the WRONG color! Don't let them get away with it! What nerve!!! They're supposed to be the experts, and the messed up - and they're messing you up. They should be bending over backwards to accomodate you... not trying to make more money off you! Go get 'em, girl!

me too - a week before is so great although I realize I will want to finalize seating before hand to get the place cards done - but good to know they don't need it so far in advance!

We're doing our menu this weekend. Can't wait!!! The final count is due 10 days before the wedding for us.

doing the tasting next friday and then the menu on the 13th which I think they want final count and I will not have it by then I am sure. Still have quite a few responses outstanding -

We're figuring out the menu tonight!!! Then we'll be tasting next week. We have four more days till our RSVP cut off and we're missing 91 RSVPS.

On a lighter note, we finally got our rings and they look great! I can't wait to be able to wear them!

It showered on me this weekend!!! I was SO surprised! I can not believe the generosity of our family and friends!!! It was so amazing! Our registry was about 10 pages long, and out of the 10 pages we did not get only 8 things. Plus we got so much stuff that was not on my registry (my whole family does not look at registries, they get what they want to get). Oh my gosh it was so amazing! And the place was GREAT!!!! The food was amazing. My sister-in-law made my cake and it came out better than the restaurant could have ever done!!! I am still on cloud-9 from this weekend. It was so great!

This scares the crap out of me because I also have an ivory dress and my veil is diamond white! I am going to go to the salon tonight to see if it will look ok. I will be so upset if it looks too light.

I have an ivory dress with an ivory veil. I'm surprised they would say to order a diamond white veil. My place was even very strict on advising me to tell the groom/groomsmen to wear ivory shirts. Hopefully they wont charge you to change it (if you opt to do so).

On a lighter note.... I leave on Thursday for my bachelorette weekend! Fun, Fun.. Chicago here we come!

I hear you on this one....5 days left for me and over half haven't RSVPd. It is stressing me out b/c I can't finalize anything like the seating chart, placecards, number of favors and so on.
