agh - only 55 days left for me! FH told me today we have 8 weeks til our wedding and I almost died...sounds SO soon!!!

Finally got shoes and undergarments today! First fitting is next Saturday - I can't wait!

We only have 35 days--I'm flipping out!!! Congrats on the shoes--what do they look like?

We started mailing our RD invites today. Today was our RSVP date and we're still missing RSVPs for 65 people.....

I know tell me about it I now have 34 days 14 hours and FH hasn't picked out his tuxes yet, and I haven't order favors yet...I should be doing that right now!! We are closing on our house in October...and all the vendor appointment are coming up! I am sure I will have alot of missing RSVP responses but my RSVP date isn't till Oct. 13th

I was told today that my dress will not be in until the week of Oct 16th. I am sure it's enough time but I still am kinda annoyed with the bridal shop.. 54 days to go!!!

i am so happy we picked up our wedding bands on saturday, at the last minute we decided to engrave them, simple just names and date in his and initials and date in mine, one more thing done, we're gonna go to get our marriage license today, i'm sure it will take all day,

So I bought a diamond white veil to match my ivory dress because the guy said it would, and like another bride who posted about this, it didn't! I was so upset because I was told the veil was not exchangeable! Well I went back to the guy that sold it to me and after talking for a little bit, he said that he would exchange it. Thank goodness because the veil looked white next to my dress. It would have looked SO bad!

Hi Heather...WOW that is a lot of missing RSVP's (I hope Lauren isn't one of them after the lecture I gave her - haha!)
I got my shoes at DSW...thanks for the idea to go there! I actually bought 2 pairs so I'll just see which looks better with my dress when I go this weekend for a fitting.
They are both just a slide - open toe. I'm not at all comfortable in dress shoes...I always wear an open toe dress shoe even in the winter so I just got what I'd be comfortable in. THey are pretty though...both have some beading. And they seem comfy!

Also picked up wedding bands this weekend...OH and we got our marriage license yesterday too since we were both off work. We did it on LI...took all of 15 minutes...so easy!

Feels good I can check a few things off the list!

It is getting so exciting stressful, nerve wracking allin one!!! I scheduled my first fitting for Monday and my bachellorette party is this weekend in the city. I guess I can't eat as much as I wanted to now that i need to fit into my dress. I am so nervous it won't fit

Where did you go that it only took you 15 minutes to get your marriage license? This may sound stupid, but do you both have to be there to get it, or can I go alone? And what do I need to bring with me to get the license? TIA for your help!!!

Just schedule your first fitting for around that date so this way you have your appointment ready for when your dress comes in. We are date twins and my first fitting is not until Oct. 12, so you will be ok.

Wow - 1 month from today I will be getting married What should I be doing? I feel like all I've been doing lately is writing lists for the dj, photographer, etc. I have all the vendor appts. booked, my fittings booked, but I feel like I should be doing other things. I still need to get a unity candle. I've really been putting that off! This is going to be such a busy month - but an exciting one!
