I'm Polish and proud of it. Any other Polish or Polish American Brides out there??
Do you have any must play or even must not play polish songs? I refuse to have to listen to any 'DiscoPolo' at my wedding.
Also, are there any Polish traditions that you're following? Or maybe refusing to follow?
I'm definatly doing the whole bread, salt, wine thing.

I was hoping you girls could help me out.
DH is Polish. We are having his sister stay with us this summer, she's 16. Does anyone know of a summer program that teaches Polish? She already knows some, my MIL just wants her to practice speaking it. I asked around Greenpoint but no luck.

im polish and ukie...1st gen...i think im going to do the bread/salt/wine thing too but my mom said we didnt have to but i think itll be cute.
i also read somewhere about this tradition with the veil...where u pass it to the moh who then gives it to the flower girl...it seemed cute.

woho we have a few 100% polish bride. Polskie Kobietki Najlepsze
We have an American DJ and are going to play some Ukie music (classic Polka & waltz...I've threatened ppl to dance!) and some Armenian music (that's his side). We matched it up with some Spanish music & we have a thouroughly international wedding!
