Oh I'll add mine too!

Fh ask me to go down to DC with him to visit a friend. The night before we left a HUGE blizzard hit NY and I didn't want to go anymore. MY FH and mom convienced me it would be fine.

We got into DC checked into our hotel and the next day did some sight seeing with plans to visit the Washington Monument after-hours. FH's friend is a park ranger so he has access after the building is closed.

Before we went on our tour FH has this strong desire to find binoculars telling me we just wouldn't be able to see the sights without them. Well, we never did find a pair and he seemed upset by this.

Anyway, we went to the monument as the sun was setting. I looked out all of the observation windows to view the whitehouse, capitol hill and the jeffeson memorial.

As I headed over to look out the last window towards the refelction pool fiance said 'what's that down there?'

I looked down and there was a big sign saying 'will you marry me?'

THE SCENE: 2nd Annual New York Voiceover Mixer, White Rabbit Lounge, Friday night, Dec. 5, on Manhattan's Lower East Side. More than 200 voice actors hugging hello's, networking, snapping photos. Event organized by Erik ______'s __________ with voice actors September _____ and LindZ ______.

THE SCRIPT: Erik's in the DJ booth, announcing raffle prize winners. LindZ hands prizes to VOs who step from the crowd.

SUDDENLY: Erik goes off-script ...

He dashes from the DJ booth, kneels before the woman he'd met exactly one year ago to the day - at the first New York VO Mixer - and asks: 'LindZ, will you marry me?'

Gasps, whoops and hollers follow from the crowd, and the ___________ camera captures it all (below).

Yes, we'd known that Erik and LindZ planned to marry. But there'd not been a formal proposal.

'I was shocked!' says LindZ, beaming later with a diamond on her ring finger. And we assume she answered, 'Yes!'

The bride-to-be is an accomplished voice actor specializing in character voices.

The groom-to-be is an accomplished voice actor, owner of ________________ - a voice-over marketplace - and a witty and lucky guy.

NO CAPTIONS NEEDED ...

A __________ photo review of the mixer will follow soon.

But first, it was a night for Erik and LindZ. We couldn't hear the dialogue, but then again, didn't need to ...

Oh yea ha,ha my response was 'You're funny.' How about the story I told him on the way down? As we were driving to DC I told him that my friend recently got engaed. She had packed all her things and was ready to leave her BF. He had no idea, proposed to her and she said 'I don't know if I can do this!'

Ha, ha really boosted Tom's confidence.

HAHAHAHA as if he wasn't s**ting himself on the way down already hahahaha. Aww poor Tom, your gonna give this kid a heart attack one day lol.
