It's called VETRO. Supposed to be opened Spring of this year but they keep pushing the date.

Yay!! another Riccardos bride!!! I haved gotten that far yet. I looked at the photos of the cakes but that is it. I am actually going for my food tasting on Feb 7. I was going to talk to them about the cakes then

Are you having a private tasting, or a tasting while an Expo is on? I asked for a private tasting and they told me I could come when they have one of the Bridal Shows, which I know is Feb 11th but I have my dress fitting that day.

Hey girls! Can one of the Riccardo's brides post any info about the bridal showcase?

I'm having my shower and potentially- rehearsal dinner at Riccardos and wanted to see it in action

I'll post the info on the bridal show when I get home from work this evening; I have the info at home.

I am pretty sure it is Feb 11th.

When i was looking before at places i went to their showcase. Only a few vendors were there and they had very little food out. They had a vendor who made fake floral arrangements, Lisa from Elite affairs, a DJ forgot his name and photographer. They had sausage and peppers, ziti and calamari. It was all very tasty. They also had soda and beer.

Ohhh theres a new RH in Woodside on Garfield Avenue near Queens Blvd called Elite Palace its really gorgeous inside a very South Beach feel to it. I dont know the prices, because when i went the owner was not in and the girl who showed us around couldnt give us any info supposedly. But i learned later on my FH dated her sister so i guess thats why she didnt want to give us info... ...But regardless the place is very nice, brand new.

Terrace on the Park is still super duper nice, but this place is nice for a shower or maybe for a small wedding..My mom told me about it and i checked it out i loved it but the freaking girl never gave my info to the owner, FH told me why . The area is residential but inside gorgeous..The cocktail room has a bar that is all illuminated real South Beach like..They have a suite for the Groom and its real manly like it kinda reminded me of Cigar lounge. The bridal suite was to die for!!

I'm not a huge fan of Terrace on the Park but I think it's my personal style....the only room I really LOVED in my search was the WGP at Fox Hollow- oh and the Palm House- Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I like the glass ceiling nature thing. I'll post if they call me back.

I never been inside of Terrace but i like that you can see such a beautiful skyline..Theres also another place at the Marina if you are on the Grand Central pkwy it's illuminated in blue lights at night i wonder how that place is . I loved the WGP pavilion but the guy i met with was super pushy so he turned me off and the minimum was too high for me, 125 pp .

The Marina- yup.....I think it's a nice location. That bay however, always smells like poop! Sorry, nasty- I know. I just can't imagine having that odor waft inside. icky.

I was at a wedding at Terrace on Saturday. The room was nice, the view was nice...the quality of food and wine- meh. No valet parking. I had a blast though.

125 MINIMUM at wgp? Nuts. Mine is 110 and I've heard some girls get 65 (Sunday afternoons). This industry is nuts.

It really does smell like poop lmfaooooo...This guy was forcing me to book i told him i have to speak to my fiance and he said oh he wouldn't care your booking a wonderful place and i said i'm sorry it's his wedding too i have to ask him first. Then the bm said to me well if you come back and your day don't come crying to us i said well i'll just pick another date. Then he also told me that March of 2010 was almost all booked which i didn't believe because i visited Fox in September. So this just totally turned me off. This guy was super pushy and the 125 was just ridiculous we don't have that much family and friends either so we would've wind up inviting ppl that we are not even that close to just to meet the minimum.
