Hey girls! Can one of the Riccardo's brides post any info about the bridal showcase?

I'm having my shower and potentially- rehearsal dinner at Riccardos and wanted to see it in action

Forgot to post the info, sorry!

The invite I got was from Pinilla Photography & Video who does DJs, Limos, and Flowers as well. The showcase & food tasting is at 7:00 p.m. at Riccardo's on Wednesday, 2/11. RSVP to 718-575-1111.

Gloria- I see that you are doing Pre-Cana this week. Where are you going for it? I booked my church Sat and the priest gave us the info and told us to do it ASAP. We dont know where to go. We are thinking about Douglaston, its close to FH house

Thanks so much. Are any of you using Pinilla? I'd recommend the DJ's...photog- another story. I was in a wedding where both were used....I wanted to punch the photographer.
I look forward to the showcase

I am not using any of Riccardos Vendors. I went to the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park and booked their package

I'm trying to keep it alive..lol..Umm i'm going to St.Barts church in Elmhurst i believe it will be us and the priest no one else.I think it's going to be for 6 weeks, this Saturday i will get all the details. If i would've known that it could be done in two days i would've done it but now its too late i don't want to burn bridges with my church lol..

No problem, it's gorgeous inside but the neighborhood is kind of commercial but nonetheless great for a shower or christening. One thing about them though i left my information and they never called me back.

At my church (actually FH's church) I have to go to Pre-Cana AND also sit with the priest 5 times to go over readings for the wedding. He actually gave us homework to do before we meet with him again! I dont understand why I have to do that because my cousin is the officiant and we will be going over that stuff with him.

That's strange i wonder why so many meetings, shouldn't one meeting be enough for you to tell them what readings you want. Very strange...lol..I guess different churches have different things you have to do like for my church i don't need to be confirmed.

Thats what I thought, but nooooooooo we have to go and discuss each reading and the reason why we picked them. FH is planning on picking the shortest and telling the priest that is why he picked it, because its short. I think I am going to be so embarrassed.

O jeez i would die if i had to do that. I'm dreading this Pre Cana because who knows what the priest will ask and my FH said he won't lie to the priest...so this is going to be interesting

I am actually planning to get married in elite palace- they gave me a price for $135 per person- all taxes included. My other choice before i saw this was terrace on the park- but its a litlle overrated. I have attended weddings there before and i am not too happy with their service- the food is forgettable. The elevators are tagged up with scratched off grafiti-

I was interested on others experience with elite palace and if anybody ever tasted their food.
My other choices were also chaetau briand- great food- nice place
