Official Ready to Kill FH Thread

Ok I will start - just bump this thread when ever needed!

So our parents have never met, we have lived together for 3 years and been dating for 6 and a half years and have been engaged for 7 months.

So back in May, my parents tell me that July 22nd is a good day for them to come to NY (they are in Jersey) cuz they have a lot going on this summer. FH's family says yeah whatever, its so far away.

So tonight he tells me that day is no good and doesn't know when his parents are available. Meanwhile, my family has turned down other plans and has been looking forward to this.

To make matters worse, I have to fight with him to get him to call his parents to see what alternate dates would be available...I mean wouldn't you ask that question when they told you they couldnt come in the first place?

so sorry you're going through that. our parents also have not met.....but it's not b/c of either of parents it's all my fault I say to do it american style...meet at the wedding

I'm in the same boat as you....I've been with my FH for almost 6 years...We're engaged for 1 yr 9 months and our parents haven't met yet either....
We've tried to get together soooo many times and they keep saying it wasn't good for them, meanwhile all they have to do is come to my house....My mom offered to cook and all....
At this point, I don't care if they don't meet until the RD....
