Hey everyone! I'm new to this, and I read a few people are talking about invitations. I am a huge fan of invitationsbydawn.com
There are some great ideas for invitations and favors, and the prices are surprisingly low.

I'm new to this thread too. My date is Sept. 16th. I have alot done already -- the reception, the church, the band, florist, photographer/videographer, invitations, my dress, the BM, junior BM and flowergirl dresses, and favors. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
I have my makeup trial on Sunday so I'm excited to see how that goes.
Good luck to all the Sept. brides with their planning!

Next up for me is: Mailing out my STD's, ordering the BM dresses, then favors & invites!! I recently just booked my honeymoon and booked all my hotels, and got my steel drum band for my CH, and booked the Old Westbury Gardens for photos :) Can you believe almost 8 months away now? I have been engaged for over a year........it will be here before we know it now!
Hi dated twin. You've been busy.

Thanks!
I am having my trial with Keri Berman. In case you wanted to check her out, her website is: Keri Berman
She did my friend's makeup and she looked great, so I am really excited. She on the expensive side though, but I've heard that she's worth it.

Oh man, we haven't even really started to look at honeymoons yet. I just started to look on the internet to see where we'd possibly like to go. Beyond that, we've done nothing...
Have you thought about where you want to go? It stinks because with getting married during hurricane season really limits us to where we can go.

Oh!!! One other thing... We finally booked our limos! We decided to go with Sir Oliver. They had the cars we wanted and were reasonably priced. We met with Jen, she was such a great lady, so helpful... I'm so happy that I get to check one more thing off the list!

Re: Official September 06 Thread
Things are actually moving along quite nicely for me right now. We have all our major vendors booked, including the honeymoon. We're going to Aruba to avoid the hurricane belt.
I have a hair trial scheduled for 2/12. I'm hoping everything will work out and I can get that out of the way.
My mom and I are trying to work on the 'little things' now, like BMs gifts, bathroom baskets, favors and whatnot so I don't have to stress about them as the wedding approaches.
Do I need to start going for makeup trials soon? How quickly do they get booked?
I would start looking into that now. When I started looking in December, a few places I contacted were already booked for my date. I'm using Denise from Angel Eyes and she told me that people are already trying to book for 2007.
