Hi Everyone! I'm also a September bride - glade I came across this website.

I am getting married on September 15th. We we are getting married on the beach in Cape May, NJ. So far, I have the reception site, photographer and I just got my dress! I am going with a deep red color for my two sisters who are my bridesmaids. Any suggestions for color scheme's for the red? Also looking for suggestions for favors - I've been looking but haven't really seen anything I like - I want to give something that people aren't going to just leave on the tables! (lord knows Im guilty of that)

I love red!! as far as favors, you can try doing a search on here as far as what other girls are doing or have done for their weddings just to get ideas.....do you have any other ideas or themes you want to incorporate?

Another September 15th girl here!!!

I am getting married at our house. Because we are on the water, I am taking my cue from the surroundings... The BM dresses are a pretty ocean blue from Ann Taylor. They look a lot better in person..

Anyone going to Bora Bora and Taha'a for their honeymoon???

I've booked most of my stuff, but because I'm planning it all myself, I'm getting way too much into the details! Who would have thought I would know so much about tents and tent lighting! Oh well.

I think September is the best month for weddings!!!!!

I'm getting married 9/29 at Chateau La Mer. I live in CT and I'm a little OCD, so I've booked most things already.
I have:

receptional hall
music for ceremony, band
photographer - Velvet studio - really good to work with so far
limos - All Star limos have been great
have my dress, veil, shoes, BMs dresses
I'm working on the hair and makeup.

We booked a florist a long time ago who has been really nice and does beautiful work but she recently closed her retail store and is now working out of her house. I'm a ltitle worried about that. Has anyone worked with Floral Presitge (formerly jazzflowersetc)? I think they now display on LIW as Flowers etc.

I'd appreciate any info anyone has on the flowers!
