Hahaha... actually, the person who made the switch for me asked me where I heard complaints about Katina. I just said a wedding forum.. I didn't specify so no worries. :)

We had Vanessa as our bridal attendant, and she was awesome. When I called the week of my wedding to find out who my bridal attendant would be, I was told I would have Katina. Because of what RisiLeigh said about her, I requested someone else, and the Swan Club came through! My husband and I chilled in the bridal suite for half of the cocktail hour, and Vanessa made sure we had enough to drink and eat while we were up there. She was also great in letting us know what would be happening next. I didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Wow I am SO glad that my complaints about Katina stopped you girls from having her! I really wish I didn't tip her what we did, but my dad had already filled and sealed the tip envelopes, so oh well. I wonder if they are wondering why no one wants Katina, now

Our maitre’d was great from the start. We met with her about a month before the wedding to select our menu, choose our linens, and to answer any questions that we had. I even called her 2 days before the wedding to change the head count, and she said no problem and that if fewer guests showed than what we paid for, she would refund us after the wedding. As expected, we had a few no shows, and we received a refund in the mail this week! I was very pleasantly surprised that the Swan Club does this because I know many reception halls will not refund for no shows.

My maitre'd promised they would do the same and then DID NOT. When I asked about it, he said that he never promised it, even though he told both myself and DH about it. In addition, he was not there before the wedding and as a result, the set up for the ceremony was incorrect, my ketubah signing was in the bridal suite, not outside, etc. What a disappointment! If I had known he was going to not refund what he promised he would have received a tip of $0.

Hey Karin...I didn{t realize you had Lorraine also as your BA...wasn{t she awesome!!!!! EVeryone in my bridal party LOVED her.

I¨m still in Mexico and having the same raining problem you are although it is on and off not the 72hours you had straight... We are here until Sunday....i hope to have more pictures when I get back.

Yes, they do. I am getting married there this month and just went to finalize my menu and my maitre d said that we can have a signature drink.

I read in another posting somewhere that you had to..but i think you should just call to make sure.

Hey guys, I am new to the site, but I am super glad that there is a thread dedicated to the Swan Club. I am so happy we booked it, and cant wait til our wedding! The grounds were beautiful, and I hear the food and service are good too! Im praying that it doesnt rain! lol!

ive heard people before say it was nothing spectacular, but FH & I thought it was good and so did my parents who came with us to SC's showcase... they were actually pretty impressed

FH loved the food at the showcase. We went to a few other showcases at other RH and he didnt like any as much as he did the swan. Definitely the reason we booked there.

Personally I liked the food at the showcase but I didn't think it was any great thing BUT EVERYONE at my wedding RAVED about the food, and I mean everyone. I thought they were just being polite until I heard from a friend that she also had people mention to her that the food from our wedding was awesome.

OMG Marisa..when we were looking at our proofs last night...we said exactly the same thing!!! I hardly ate ANYTHING at my wedding.

No, sorry! We actually didnt use any of their vendors! We booked with FM Entertainment... got alot for a really low price
