I'm married!!! Everything was amazing. Vineyard Caterers went above and beyond. John was so attentive from the second we walked in. The guests are still raving about the food. Unfortunately we had to do the ceremony inside because the weather was questionable. They had the outside all set up just incase, but at the last minute decided to do it indoors. It was fine. Actually it was nice and intimate. I don't have pics yet, but will post them as soon as I get them. We're not going on our honeymoon until Saturday.

OMG RENEE!!! congratulations!!!!!!! i'm so glad to hear you had a great time! how are you enjoying your first days as a married couple? have fun on the HM and i can't wait to see your photos when you come back!!!!

RENEE!!! congratulations. we cannot wait to see pics and read review!!! For so long, it seemed just like you and I were the only vineyard caterer brides, now there is a bunch!!! yaaaay!!!!

They are 72 inch tables which seats 10 or 12.

The bar at the Holiday Inn is small. It's one of those roll out bars that they have in the lobby...where the continental breakfast is. The bar at the Best Western is more of a 'bar'. It's in the bar and grill that they have there. We kept the bar open at the Holiday Inn after our wedding. While it is small, it was fine for what we were doing. We hung out for a little while with our OOT guests after the wedding and with whomever else came out. It was casual, everyone was exhausted- no one really cared where we were at that point. There are couches, tables & chairs and a tv. I think they put music on too. HTH!

ETA- Just an FYI...a Hilton Garden Inn is opening up anyday just down the road from the Best Western. You might want to check that out too when they open.

I have lots of questions about transportation - what are you girls doing/did you girls do about transportation to and from VC? I know HIE and BW have a shuttle service based on the number of rooms you book, but we are thinking it might make more sense to hire a bus or the trolley - but I think they're only available for 6 hours? What did you do to get your guests back to their hotels? How much did it all cost? Can the bus or trolley drive to other places during that time?

Okay, so that was a lot of questions, sorry! ... TIA!

The HIE 'complimentary' shuttle service was a bit of a joke. We needed to book 15 rooms in order to get it. What you get at no cost, is a 14 passenger van...not quite enough to accommodate even half of our OOT guests. We spread the word only to our 'drinkers' that there was a shuttle and left everyone else on their own. We did not book any additional transportation because it just wasn't in our budget, so I can't help you with that.

Haven't figured out tuxes yet. Most likely, Mens Warehouse because the GM's are from OOT!

Yup, same with us. Are there any nearby or are you having them all order from their local store?

Basically, you can set it up at your local store and then they have the information in the computer so when the GM go to their local men's warehouse, it will have the information on file.

Haven't figured out tuxes yet. We went to one place last weekend so FH could get fitted for his friend's wedding... I asked for pricing for our wedding and I wasn't happy with their prices and I also got a bad feeling about the place. FM me for more info on that - I don't like to mention specific vendors on the site. We'll probably just go to Men's Warehouse!

Did our tasting last weekend, and we LOVE John (I know we're not the only ones, but had to rave!). He is just the sweetest, and so very helpful! The waiter (I feel terrible, but I forgot his name) was also so nice...

Also, we had forgotten how beautiful it is out there. Just hope it's sunny to show off the vines!

I'm so glad you had a good tasting. John is SUCH a sweetheart. We're in great hands! I stopped by the Vineyard on Memorial Day weekend to see what it will look like on our day next year. It was GORGEOUS! So green, flowers were in full bloom, and everyone was so sweet there! Another wedding was going on that night and the BP was already in the bridal suite like 4 hours before the wedding - just shows how accommodating VC is! i'm so excited!
