Check out Jedediah Hawkins Inn....beautiful place to spend the wedding night!! A bit pricey 325 a night...but gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!

i asked bill about the chiar covers and overlays and changing colors they do have some but are limited with colors. I know with an overlay i think they only have gold but they can change the table cloth color to whatever other color but a solid color. same with napkins.

Are you talking about the mual by the staircase? If so I wouldn't even know how to cover it up its too big plus no one is really going to pay that much attention to over there anyways everyone will be focused on the dance floor. do you really think it is that bad? lol

I do...and I know Kerri feels the same way hahahaha. Its going to be in all the pictures when the BP gets announced!!! Its just awful! it doesnt fit in with anything, i'm not really sure why its even there. You are right though, it will only be spotlighted for that short amount of time...but stillllll hahahahahah

haha thats funny! its not the prettiest thing in the world but how would you even begin to cover it up??? draping flowers? that would be expensive i would think. white backdrop hanging? possibility. i feel like its gonna be hard to cover up. Have you asked bill if anyone has ever covered it up before? Maybe he has some suggestions.

And about the hotels i was quoted $199 from Hotel Indigo for my may wedding and $159 for hilton garden inn.

Yeah I may price out what it would cost to have it covered with draping but i prob wont actually do it, its not in my budget hahaha. i'll just have to deal with it.

As far as the HGI, i'm paying 179 for sat night and 159 for sunday night

I was just looking back through all the links I've save for wedding ideas and came across this one some of you might like to use. It has wine names and descriptions and graphics. I think you're supposed to order from them but I wonder if you could copy and print yourself?

You hate the chairs? I prefer those styled chairs much more than others chair I've seen at other halls.

$199?! I was quoted $269. I guess October is high season???

In terms of the mural- I'm not a fan either but it doesn't bother me. I've seen a lot worse. Perhaps you can use lighting to cover up or tone it down??

was the $269 ur group price or your regular one room price? b/c i know the regular room was 2 something but the group price was $199.

omg, how did i almost miss out on the discussion about the mural?!? haha i HATE HATE HATE the mural and will do whatever i can to get it covered. i'm going to ask their house florist if they've ever covered it or if they have any ideas to cover it...and i may even ask bill. i just don't want to offend him. i realllllyyyyy hope they wind up painting over it this winter ::fingers crossed:: it just doesn't fit in!!

and i happen to like the chairs i'm not covering them up.

although i did order samples of satin overlays for the table- they'll be here tomorrow.

what company are you using for overlays? are the samples expensive? I am looking for a sheer overlay in like a blue color and i don't even know where to begin to look. any info you have would be greatly appreciated!
