i took pics right after she was finished....3 hours later...and then at the end of a night of drinking (6 hours after she finished the MU) - all 3 pics look exactly the same that says a lot lol

i'll post them tonight once i upload!

Holiday Inn Express quoted me $209/night for a regular room and $229/night for a suite.

Hilton Garden Inn quoted me $129/night for a regular room (there are no suites).

Obviously this pricing is for November...HTH!

I got the most insane quote on the shuttles from the HGI!!!!!!

To the RH from the HGI...for 14 people....$350!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W T F?????

For 2 of them its $500!!!!!

I am still in shock by how expensive it is!!!!!!!! i cant get over it!!!

It really is, its not like they are doing multiple trips, thats for one trip from HGI to VC...how insane is that?!?!?!

Hi girls!!! We are doing low CPs. Mostly to save money! I felt the ceilings were on the low side, so tall CPs weren't necessary.

I dont get the shuttle thing...HIE told us $260 per run...and the bus fits 14 people, we already have 20 rooms booked so thats at least 40 people!?!? I may look into something else if they dont budge!

Oh and go to my album the Future Mr & Mrs and see my engagement party cake...it was soooo nice!!!

What time is everyone getting married at? Were you able to pick the time you wanted to get married or was it given to u?

We got quoted 209/room and 219/suite from HIE and 219/room for HGI.

We asked at HIE (where we booked) about shuttles and they said for every 15 rooms you book you get one round trip shuttle service (for 14 ppl) and then it was about 250 ( I can't remember exactly right now because they said they don't have to know an exact number of how many shuttles we need until a few weeks before) for each round trip shuttle after that.

Those are the quotes for July 3rd, I thought it was pretty good since it is 4th of July weekend!

I am getting married at 2, but at a church in Patchogue and our CH is starting at 6:30. We would have preferred a later church time but we are having a full mass and the church is about an hour away from VC and I refuse to miss any of the CH haha

Right now we're gettign married at 3 in cutchogue and ch starts at 6:30....might move cocktail hour till 7 as i want more than enough time for pictures b/c I wanna go to cocktail hour!!!

Does anyone know if they have chair covers and chair bows at VC we can rent? I don't remember Bill mentioning it when we booked, I guess I should have asked! If not I guess I will have to look into renting them from a company. I also kind of wanted an overlay for the table cloth. If anyone else thinking of doing anything like that?

I am getting married at 2:30 CH starts at 6 but if no one is booked before me I will move it to 5:30.

I called the HGI today and was quoted $139/per night. Kendra is right, shuttles are insane and you can get a bus for the same price lol.

Also, for those who don't want to get ready in a conference room they do offer a king room with a whirlpool and an adjoining room (would have to pay for two rooms). You can also keep the bar open for $150.

I'm thinking I might do a block and just rent out an Inn for myself and the bridal party.
