OMG!!! That is insane. Did they tell you you're responsible for the rooms you blocked if 80% aren't booked? I think that is BS!

I'm calling the Holiday Inn Express today to see what they can give me and the HGI. It might be cheaper to just rent a coach bus!

What hotel is that? HGI didn't say anything about that.
I'm petrified of the cost of limos and shuttles! FH really wants to do the shuttle now and we told people about it so we HAVE to do it.
And now I want a photobooth, really for the guest book purposes because I don't think my last idea is going to work. But I don't think we have the budget for all this!!!

I booked my makeup with glam me up...kelly is soooo sweet! Has anyone done hair yet or had any hair trials yet? That is my next task to get done.

try calling north fork trolley for prices. HCI charges like 300 bucks for 14 ppl.

i'm using the north fork trolley...we're going to use that for bridal party and guest transportation since they let you split up the time between the beginning and end of the wedding.

How much was north fork trolley???

The HIE told me we would be responsible for the rooms we booked if 80% were not booked. I don't think I will book with them if I can't negotiate that.

we're paying around $1300, which seems like a lot, but remember we don't have to rent limos for our bridal party

I am a VC bride too! I am excited about this thread! I feel like it's so hard to find other VC brides to discuss this stuff with! My gf from work is getting married there on New Years Eve so I can't wait to go to her wedding and see what is like during an actual wedding!

I just looked at the pictures from the wedding you went to and it looked beautiful! But I was very on the fence about chair covers and chair bows but seeing your pictures decided it for me. I need them lol I think it will just dress up the room more.

Also, I saw some of you ladies looked into having a cigar roller there. I would LOVE to surprise FH with that at the wedding. What kind of prices did you girls get for it?

YAY!!!! Another VC bride!!!! hooray!!!

While we were at teh Polish Festival yesterday, we wandered down to the church and we LOVE it!!! It was the first time that we've seen it, we booked it sight unseen. I got a little anxiety..good anxiety hahaah....while we were in there.

Speaking of decorating... did anyone figure out what they're doing about the mural?? I think I will keep it becaue I can't think of an affordable way to cover it up. I've been looking at NapaValleygirl's review and was thinking maybe lighitng could do the trick.

I'm also on the fence about having kissing balls hang from the ceiling.

kedra! I can't believe you havn't seen it yet! you should have asked me i would have taken pics!! I drive by it all the time!! (FH and I go to the birchwood ALOT for dinner!!!)
i tis a gorgeous church!!! call them though and ask when they are doing the new roof!! I know they are putting one on!
