Who is everyone using for their florists and where are they located?

I'm using B u r t o n s but I might want someone closer to the hall in case things get F*ed up

Im using homeside florist they are located on corner of rt 25 and 105 about 5 min from vc they had great prices and we've used them for family stuff for years

VC girls.. we have NOTHING to worry about!!! It was an amazing wedding!! Everything was perfect!! CH was scrumptious, as was dinner!!!!we both had the chateau briand..yumm they came around with seconds so FH got some of the chicken florentine! yummm.....cake was great!! didn't get a pic of it!! i'll post pics here and i'll post pics in teh thread...but NOTHING to worry about!!! Jonny recognized us and kept bringing us drinks throughout the night! We saw Bill as well. The Mural is still holding strong! they had the uplighting in blue and it did nto conceal the mural at all, in fact they had a light shining on it! WE need to gang up and maybe they wil paint over it!

haha yes it was great. didn't drink much because I have to work tomorrow, but it was a beautiful wedding!!! Gorgeous ceremony outside!

i'm glad to hear the food was good too...i still haven't done a tasting so i have to rely on other peoples' opinions lol

Food was great!! Only thing was i didnt think there were many passes h'orderves this could have just been this wedding bc it was a monday afternoon and i know they were trying to save as much as possible

that's weird. the passed hors d'oeuvres list in their package is really long - and i thought everything was included?

Looks so gorgeous! All the events I've been to anywhere I usually only manage to get 2-3 of the passed hors d'oevures. I always assumed they only made a few trays of each and the good stuff just goes really quick. Guess that's something to ask!

I actually noticed that too at the wedding I went to there, and my friend went to a different wedding there and scoped it out and I now remember she said the same thing... hmmm def should be discussed

I'll ask my friend who got married there on Monday b/c they had seat covers.
I was thinking of just doing organza sashs on the chairs. what does everyone think of that?

Has anyone booked their RD? I'm not sure where to have it, we were looking to do one pretty cheap, and not far from Riverhead where the hotel is. Any ideas? Maybe even like a knights of Columbus and just get catering?? Wasn't a fan of the HGI catering menu, and they don't allow outside food.

Yeah i was thinking about this too...honestly i dont want anything fancy. Maybe Diggers, they have a private room.
