Did anyone go to the bakery yet (this is included in VC). Just wondering how it was, and if they were pretty open to designs and things like that. Let me know!

i plan on calling vc tomorrow to ask about this and linens. i know theyre going to tell me it's early but I start grad school again in 2 weeks and will be insanley busy with my thesis being that it's my last semester

i'll let you konw what they say

I don't mean to be hung up on this, but I'm confused... when you say you're extending cocktail hour, are you getting food then? Cuz I called today to ask about it (we need to nail down times for our invites which are officially ordered! yay!) and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I think I made a mistake. They might only offer an 1 1/2 cocktail hour. Not sure if they gave me the option to add to the RH. Then again Johnny showed me around and told me a lot of things were included that weren't so now I have them all

I was excited to hear about the linens and napkins the last time I went too!! Havent picked them out yet still 6 months away (ahhh). 2011 is going to be amazing for all of us!!!

As for the coctail hour mine is 6:30-8 i beleive then reception 8-12 then VH 12-1. I am not having my ceremony there.... Those of you getting married in a church, when is your rehersal?

Are you paying for an extra hour? I don't think the VC vienese comes with an extra hour.

I am getting married at the VC in August! I am very excited, I am especially impressed with their professionalism and variety of food, flexibility, etc. The vineyards are gorgeous a great value for the $$$!

At the point of seriously stressing out!!!! We hit the 4 month mark on Thursday and im seriously freeking out.
Were suppose to go to vc this weekend to:
Pick up directional cards
Look at linens (i was told on phone they only have white but thanks to you girls i know theyre are more!)
I want to talk about the cake and set up w bakery as i started school again and march/april and may are going to be insane with work so we want to do all that sooner than later

Still have to pick ceremony stuff and music
Make church programs and menus

Stuffing invites in next few weeks to mail end of feb

We ordered cake topper, card box, picture frames for placecards, picture frames for table numbers, groomsmen gifts are done, bridemaids gifts are half done, we picked out tuxes.

Can someone bump the big to do list for me??
I want everything done by my bday april 20 as may will be insane with finals and graduation. I think my bparty is memorial day weekend which is 5 days before the wedding!!!

Congrats to the new VC bride!!
We booked our florist, get to see our sample low CP on Sunday!!!
Our honeymoon is booked!!!
Working on lining our inner envelopes, cutting out escort cards, and still need to figure if I want to convince my mom to calligrapher them (she has a really nice handwriting) or just print them. I'd like them to go out before March 27th (2 months prior).
Working on our song lists! They are due March 27th.
Working on the favors (just have to write our names and date on them).
Need to find someone to do my hair!! Already booked a makeup artist!
Going later this month to help my mom find her dress! And maybe I can convince her to go to tri county with me and look at veils and stuff. Probably won't order until my dress comes in and I can get a swatch.

Wow ladies!! so much!! and so exciting . I am happy (thanks to you girls) to know there is more then one linen choice too!, we hit out 6 month mark last sunday. We stated pre -cana last .Tuesday, which I actually like! we booked our honeymoon to Italy and all we really need to do now is get the rings, cake and view samples of my stuff from the florist. Can you ladies beleive how close we are getting!?! Keep us posted on when you go to VC and let us know what happens with the linens!
