I am so happy this thread was started I have spoke to many brides but no one ever getting or got married at vineyard caterers! I did not even know there was rainbow cookie cake! that sounds awesome. Have you gone for a tasting at all at VC??? They give you the cake then!! The tasting is amazing!!! You get SOOOOO much food!!
I havent thought about linens yet, but i'll most likely keep them as is so they dont clash with my CPs.
i can't wait for the tasting...i'm not really sure when to request this. i think bill said there are a ton of linen choices, so i want to take a look at them. maybe when i'm out there on saturday.

I'm in Centereach. We are actually going wine tasting tomorrow w a few friends!
I also had cheesecake at my tasting.
I called Bill a few days ago w some questions, he said they go over the menu, the cake and all the details (extras, linens, uplighting) about 3 wks before the wedding, so you have a good idea of how many people are coming.
Do you guys have your dresses yet? I started looking and when I told one consultant where I was getting married, she suggested something more soft and flowy, like chiffon or lace instead of shiny satin. Do you guys think a satin dress is too much for a wedding there?

and Satin is not to much, its whatever YOU want!!! i'm getting lace/chiffon b/c that is what I have always wanted. I think Satin would be beatiful!

wow you live in holbrook too thats awesome! can we say CARPOOL! lol i also want to do my linens NOW! i want the exact same thing an overlay that is like see through chiffon kind of material i saw it in a magazine once and i fell in love. i had emailed bill and he said the same thing that we go over it 3 weeks beforfe the wedding but thats cutting it close for me. by the last month i want everything already to be set in motion and knowing its going to be perfect! i did get my dress already its the dress in my pictures. if you like satin you should get satin! you should definitely wear the dress you put on and it gives you that feeling. i always watched the wedding shows making fun of the girls who cry and yep of course i cried! lol
I wanna do the linens now too! ugg a little bit of OCD over this wedding!

stopped at the vineyards on saturday to show my sister...it looks AMAZING. i took a few pics of the ceremony area (since last time i was there in february and it didn't look anything like what it does now!)...the pics are in my VC album
asked bill about linens and tasting and he confirmed that it's about 3 weeks before.i'm ready now! lol
also stopped at the hilton garden inn and the holiday inn express. i'm going to sign the contract for the hilton garden inn tomorrow! FM me if you have any questions about either hotel
ugh, i love VC!! seeing again made me fall in love all over![]()

I am doing tall centerpieces in purples/blues pinks and greens I am going to have the flowers drape down as well.
