I got a card and he made filet mignon. I was very sad I did not get roses or chocolates or anything. I honestly thought he was hiding the roses and went into the hall looking. I thought we were playing hide and seek. But there was nothing to find. So I didn't give him his gifts either 'cause I am spiteful like that. But today a guy working in Trader Joe's gave me some roses leftover from yesterday.
Oh no! Listen, men are CLUELESS! My DH sometimes totally S U X at gift-giving. I've gotten the card treatment before . I know, I know, it's the thought that counts...anyway, why don't you let him know you would have liked a more meaningful gift, like even a homemade card? Why are they sooooo useless sometimes!!??

I got roses (from Shop Rite because I threatened him with my rath if he dared to pay a florist for roses on V-Day)
The Swarovski tea light holder, heart shaped tea lights, a big heart shaped candle
The HUGE Lindt chocalate boxes (they were a set of 3 boxes)

Panama Hatties was VERY Good!!!!
He only made me 1 pancake because I really shouldn't have them (not on my diet) but it was wonderful & just the sweet thought that went into it & that he snuck out of bed before me & made it before I got up to get ready for work was wonderful. All so he could have breakfast with his wife on Valentines Day!
BTW Jenny, that stone is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I Love Blue Topaz!!!!
