Reading this I realized we need to invite more people. I just realized that some of our single friends may very well arrive stag as opposed to with a date. (And one of my friends just broke up with her BF no less)

wanted to bump this thread because its so great!!!
My rsvp date is monday 10-10 invited 294 guaranteed 200 yes 160 no 47 (many people coming solo) still waiting for 87(most of my BP etc. who are waiting to see if they are bringing guests etc)
we are at about 16% No's right now.
everyone is right, the no's definitely come in at the end!!!!!!

Invited: 260 final count at wedding: 187 minimum was 175. We had exactly what i hoped for!

I hope to be this lucky! We're definitely inviting about 50 more people than we wany because I want to be as close to my min. as possible.

**The remaining No's were people who were invited 'and guest' and are coming alone.
ETA: I think that is about 25% No's.

We had almost a 50% no show rate, but then again we invited 489 people and ended up with 271 I don't think we had any no shows. Our parents were inviting people at the last minute because we were so short on our minimum. So the percentage is not correct with the numbers above. Our REAL guest list shows 52% accept rate.
