For those of us up to or past this point, I thought we could post how many people we've invited, how many said yes and how many said no. I know I would have found this information helpful about a month ago.
Please add on.
DISCLAIMER: This is in NO way a guarantee of how many guests you will get at your wedding. This is simply for informational value and, probably, so you can see the vast array of yes to no ratios. Your number will depend on the day/date/time you have your wedding and how many OOT guests you have.
And, of course, how much people like you.
Just Kidding!!!

Re: Official 'Yes-No Response Ratio' Thread
This thread is great!! Could people also mention how many people were out of towners? I have a lot and am worried- we are inviting like 165 and our max is 150.

I'm getting nervous about meeting my guarantee. Although our guarantee is only 150, we already know of 3 couples who won't be attending (this is without even having sent out invitations).
All of this has made me decide to mail out my invitations the moment I receive them. Our response date is June 1 and I want to make sure we have time to send out B list invitations without people realizing they were on the B list.
I feel your pain. I have the exact same problem. That's why I want to send them out early. I will ask coworkers that I wouldn't normaly ask if I come up short.

Re: Official 'Yes-No Response Ratio' Thread
Seems like the no rate for most is about 20-25%. This would work out very well for me. I am inviting 160, and I don't think many people will say no - but as long as 15 say no - say about 10% - I'll be ok with my budget, space, etc. 20% would be 32 no's and that would bring me to 128, which is less than I want - which means I can invite some folks I have been on the fence about because of the budget but would love to invite.
Thanks MJDoc for bumping!
