Official 'Yes-No Response Ratio' Thread

For those of us up to or past this point, I thought we could post how many people we've invited, how many said yes and how many said no. I know I would have found this information helpful about a month ago.

Please add on.

DISCLAIMER: This is in NO way a guarantee of how many guests you will get at your wedding. This is simply for informational value and, probably, so you can see the vast array of yes to no ratios. Your number will depend on the day/date/time you have your wedding and how many OOT guests you have.

And, of course, how much people like you.

Roughly a 33.33% decline rate, but most of them were out of the country and we knew wouldn't make it.

i'm inviting around 260 and PRAYING that at LEAST 40 people say no. but i have gone through the list a million times and i look at every person's name and think 'nope, there's no way that person is going to say no!!!'. were there people that said no that you all thought for sure would come? problem is, i have practically no OOT.

This makes me nervous ...We are inviting roughly 200 and the room minimum is 165

Our list is currently at 221 and our minimum is 150. We're hoping for not many more than that.

I think we'll be okay (hoping) b/c we do have a lot of upstate peeps and Texas/Florida people.

Was it mainly family or friends that did not attend? Our tentative guest list is around 210ish with 175 minimum (160 but we pay $20 more a person)

We are not yet at 20% declining

Still have 50 people yet to respond....RSVP date 6/4

If I could have done it all over...would have sent out A&B list at the same time

I actually have a 50% decline rate. I'll JUST make my minimum. I never expected this but it CAN happen. I'm in June, and we had a lot of graduation declines, vacation declines.

we mailed out about 98 invites - invited 195 people so far of 36 responses, there are 2 no's. my date is 7-4, so i'm not counting my chickens yet

about 20 people were taken away from our guest list when another relative threw a wedding ona cruise this week. W T F??? so they all went to her wedding and can't make ours that was announced way back when because in january she planned hers for the same week...but whatever.

also, about 34 people from FH's office were invited and less than half are coming.

we have about 15 responses outstanding, and are hoping for about 150.

rsvp date was yesterday, but no mail, so we hope to have them all in by saturday the latest
