For those of us up to or past this point, I thought we could post how many people we've invited, how many said yes and how many said no. I know I would have found this information helpful about a month ago.

DISCLAIMER: This is in NO way a guarantee of how many guests you will get at your wedding. This is simply for informational value and, probably, so you can see the vast array of yes to no ratios. Your number will depend on the day/date/time you have your wedding and how many OOT guests you have.

Our Wedding is on a Friday night. We guaranteed 120 guest. We really only want that many, like no more no less. We are inviting 175. So I am crossing my fingers for 55 to say no. Wish me luck!

148 (Y) 45ish (N)
No rate 33%. (most of which are from FILs people. hahaha)
However, I'm still missing a bunch of responses. Why can't people respect the RSVP date???

Our wedding is Sunday of Labor day weekend. Min 135 people. Invited 241....UGH...I am hoping for enough no's for under 200 (way under 200). This thread is helping me to realize that it may just happen! The hall holds 200 comfortably and 230 squished. so far around 8-10 no's - so we are on our way! RSVP date is 8/12 - wished I would have made it sooner as I would love to have an official B list. Invites went out early - wanted to get them out early (about 2 weeks ago) due the holiday weekend and wanting a B list.

about a 40% decline rate
A lot of guests invited were OOT and my mom's family that SHOULD have been there
But it worked out because the size of the room was PERFECT, and we had enough left in the budget to get a second photographer

We invited 219 and are ending up with 160 (27% NO'S!!! NOT what we expected!!)
But, we did invite everyone with a guest and some of those no's are just people who opted to not bring a date.

Forgot to mention, it's a Sunday afternoon wedding and Jewish new year's eve. Alot of my guests are 1 to 2 hours away but they were still able to make it. :D

Total coming: 105 adults + 1 child
Not coming: 68 No's
my # includes a lot of No's cause some guests opted to go single instead of (& Guest)
Total Ratio: 61% Yes, 39% No
No shows: 2
