Has anyone started looking into possible officiants? The ones that I have emailed don't seem to open their 2016 book until 2015. I wanted to find someone sooner rather than later since it is pretty important to have someone there that would be able to marry us, lol.

My FBIL & FSIL used April as well and she was great! If my uncle wasn't marrying us, I would probably be using her.

Hey I would tell you to call Helen at ADA she was our minister at east wind when we booked our package. she is great she is so down to earth. she will open her book for u im sure because she helped us book early in advance. call her over at ADA studio in selden!

You wont be sorry!!!

P.S. I also booked with them for photo and video they are such a great company and they work so well together.

Hey! My FH and I are using his grandmother's pastor from her church that she has known for years for our ceremony. I think that's the only reason why he is holding the date for us, besides that I've heard of officiants being a little more strict on booking far in advance than other vendors like DJ's or photographers. I'm sure if you keep looking though and maybe even go in person, some officiants would be willing to hold the date for you. Good luck!! :)
