If the ceremony will only be 1 officiant (not 1 rabbi & 1 minister) - what do you think I should expect to pay? More than $400? Ouch.

I've gotten prices anywhere from about 250 (for a simple ceremony) to 550. I'm hoping to stay around 300 or 350 but I didn't expect the prices to be as high as some have given me. Good luck!

i'm paying $475.. i don't think thats too bad bc if we were getting married at a church it would probably end up being pretty close to that anyway.

$ 550 seems expensive but hes so well organized and was very nice.. he was the 1st we met with it, and booked him on the spot!

Huh..ok - cool. Thanks! I spoke to someone who was $375 and then today spoke to someone who was $500 (for nothing than a regular ceremony, so that's just too much)

We are paying $500 for a full mass at our church. Oh and we have to tip 2 alter boys.

We don't pay our rabbi, we make a charitable contribution to the temple -- meaning it should be tax deductible.

My fiance is Jewish and I am Catholic so we have been calling rabbis and priests. They want to charge $600-$750 a piece!!! Really for a 20 min ceremony I am going to pay $1200-1500?? riiighhhtt.
I feel guilty trying to negotiate with God but seriously? This is insane. Can anyone recommend some reasonably priced priests and rabbis that will do ceremonies together?

we're paying $525 and yes I do think it is a little expensive but we really liked him and hes so organized it made me and FH very comfortable

I'm paying 750 to get married in a church w/ one officiant, plus I have to use their music. Yes it is a lot, but that's still my cheapest vendor and obviously the ceremony is more important than a deejay.

I think between 300-500 is pretty normal for LI standards... so 400 sounds about right to me
