Officiant Question
I have a question regarding officiants for a Catholic/Jewish ceremony. FH and I are looking at venues the past few weeks are were just about done. The pricing for Saturday afternoons vs. evening are making it a no brainer for us in terms of cost.BUT his mom just told us that it will be impossible to get a Rabbi to perform a Saturday afternoon ceremony as it is their Sabbath.
Has anyone else run into this issue or have a work around? Or does anyone know of a Catholic/Jewish officiant team that regularly does Saturday afternoon weddings.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Officiant Question
I would assume it shouldn't be a huge issue since most interfaith rabbis are more liberal as long as they aren't leading a sabbath service. What time is your wedding? I'd call around to make sure just Google interfaith rabbi Long Island to start.Welcome New Vendors
