Oh - how embarassing.....

I just mailed my invitations out on Tuesday (whew!) and was just getting used to this sense of relief and feeling like things were getting accomplished, when ...........................................

my older brother calls and tells me that there is a spelling error on the RSVP card!

Seems that I did not notice that the printer messed up on the typesetting by writing 'Acepts' rather than Accepts!! UGH!!! How utterly embarrassing!!

Seriously, I spent so much time going over the invitation, checking and rechecking the date, the time, the church, the names, etc., that I missed it too!!! Who would think to look at the RSVP card. I don't even think I looked at it!!!! UGH!!!

I didn't even notice after spending HOURS tying pretty little bows or when I took them to Kinko's to have matching direction cards printed, etc. Duh!

I can guarantee you that some wise a** is going to give me a dictionary as a wedding or shower gift and I cannot say that I blame them!

So girls, I must say that those of you that posted your invites or programs and asked for help proof reading are pretty smart. Lesson learned here!

Don't worry I'm sure no one will remember it or notice it except for our close relatives

I have sort of similar situation, I was so excited sending my invites and didn't realize that half of them doesn't have a direction card...but i don't really worry, I'm sure they will Google the place.

WOW! SHocking that the printer didn't catch that!! In fact, you might want to see what they'll do for you, can they give you a discount, or maybe they'll throw in your thank yous, or take something off of your programs? I'd run it by them just to see...
(BTW I agree, hardly ANYONE will pick up on that, don't worry, no one will think badly of you!!!)
