I don't see why people get so offended that someone they don't even know says they don't like a hall. I mean so what? No one is saying 'I don't like that YOU chose XYZ hall' so why get so offended? We all have our own personal likes and dislikes. Even saying 'did anyone else not like XYZ hall' - I don't find anything wrong with that. If it was my hall and I liked it I would reply that I liked it and the reasons why.
Now I can't see the original post but it seems to me the poster was upset because she went to see the hall one day and liked it then went while there were 3 parties going on and felt it looked like too much was going on. Again, her opinion, she wanted to know if she was being too harsh or critical or not.
I think that we should step back and realize that not every negative post should be taken personally. I don't think this poster meant to insult anyone's choice in halls.

BUT I just think the way this was posted: 'Am I the only person who didn't like the Watermill'
is a terrible way to start off the post.
I completely agree. It's like this post was setup to bash Watermill.
However, in the end, who cares what a person says about some of your choices? You're day is not going to be based on what others think ~ it's going to be based on your moment in marrying FH, and celebrating spending your lives together forever (wow, that's a long time, huh? ).

I agree. This is a forum board. You cannot tell people 'how' to post thier opinions.

This is the type of thing we should not let happen...first to the original poster...you started this...stand behind your convictions and dont delete the post or it looks like you just started trouble and ran..which I completly believe was NOT your intention...as a Watermill bride and the others who posted, NONE of us were offended....if you start a post that has some negativity to it, you are going to get people who stick up for you, people who are going to argue with you and people ( like me) that just see it as an opinion....(actually many posts or threads will have this) So everyone...stop making things bigger then they are...and there is nothing wrong with differing opinions....no-one should say her post was WRONG...BUT...everyone should be prepared when they post something to have the good and the bad responses...
When you posted this...did you think everyone was going to say' oh your so right'...I doubt it...which makes me wonder why you erased it....especially since none of us 'Watermill' brides were bothered byu it in the least?
