That's what we are put on this earth for- to live the dream! If that's your house then do it! Just think of how much fun you are going to have changing your registry around? Window treatments, bed sets, bathroom ensambles....it's a dream come true!

go for the house. we are doing the same thing, getting married in 2 months and closing on a house in 1 month. Going to the bank and getting the inspection really isn't as scary as it sounds. If the house is meant to be, then everything should fall into place. Just make sure you get a good real estate attorney. That is the person who will end up taking care of most of the headache paperwork for you. Good luck! It's a beautiful house!

I feel your pain sister!! FH and I were told in March that we need to be out of the house we live in by July!! They are selling it! So, FH and I started looking right away for a house to buy. Unfortunately, our budget is small, not to mention we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves! Oh... did I mention that we are getting married in exactly 4 months!!

Anyway, we started looking in East Islip and Islip Terrace [LI] since they are nice neighborhoods with great schools, and though we will have to travel about an hour each way to work every day, we would rather do that than pay someone else's mortgage by renting!

So, I say, get your sh!t together and do it! I know it is stressful and that you are getting married before I am, but you can do it! It will be crazy and scary, but you will be happy when it is over! The house you found is beautiful! Make an offer, and get that house!! The first one we fell in love with went to a higher bidder and we are sad!! But, we found another little one that we love and will hopefully be in contract this week!!

that house is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG- do not pass it up!!!!! everything happens for a reason and it will all work out!!!! If this is truly your dream home, don't let it go....

I live in CT, where in CT are you buying? I live in Waterbury and I LOVE IT HERE! CT rules - it is so nice to live where there are more than 3 major roads to travel on!
