oh well...we tried!

we put in an offer on a house and got outbid beyond asking price for the house and beyond what we can afford... good thing we're not in a rush and we have time...just a shame, the house itself was mint, the location was the only iffy thing...but man, sorta little bummed

we're starting the home buying process too, at least you've started the process and have some experience now. I'm jealous !

Location is way more important anyway
No matter what you will make changes to a house so a little less perfect condition is ok
I went with iffy location and mint condition and have since put a lot of money in (after 4 years a lot less was mint...)
And now I wanna go to a better location and can't til the market turns around

Everything happens for a reason!!! Trust me. We put an offer on a house that we LOVEDDD a few months back, and then it fell through. We were so bummed. A few weeks later, I was laid off from my job. Thank God we lost the house because we wouldn't be able to afford it! You will find your home eventually

Fh and I looked for a house for months!!! W were outbid, out contracted, and just plain old beat up. We just kept telling ourselfves that when we were sitting in our living room we would know why the others never worked out. Luckily it was just like that!! I can't imagine us anywhere else even tho we have a small house it is ours!!!

The process is long and frustrating but don't give up your house is out there and it will feel different when u walk in it!!!

It is seriously stressful and we had two houses fall through already. FINALLY something is working out and it's better than we seriously ever imagined... it's a much better house than we expected to get and the location is awesome. Be picky!! I got really impatient at times and was ready to just jump into any house but it is worth it to keep spending those weekends looking around!
