Re: OHEKA?
I just know the site fee is ridiculous atr certain times of the year ($10K) and that's before you actually start to pay for anything.

Although I wish I could have visited I never bothered looking. I do know there is a $10,000 site fee which can soemtimes be talked down to 5,000 (if you become a member or something). Unsure of the per person #. Good luck and invite me if you pic the place!!!!

Re: OHEKA?
i am assuming u are talking about me? I am not easily offended.
everyone has there own opinions of places which is the whole point of this website, not every place is right for every bride.
i do want to say though there are a lot of rumors about oheka (which i believed until i went there sort of as a joke just to see the place because i grew up in the area) and realized plenty of brides on a budget get married there everyday! they are very easy to work with and wound up (with the extras i wanted) costing less than some of the other places i was looking at.

Oh don't put hope into my mind!
Can you confirm what the site fee was?

Re: OHEKA?
I went to a wedding there recently. Don't quote me on this, but it was a Friday and I think I heard them say they were paying $130pp. I don't know what they paid for a site fee. That's a lot less than I expected. It was a BEAUTIFUL place.

We got engaged there and the food is amazing and it is beautiful. However, after our very expensive engagement weekend package there, we tried to contact them about getting quotes for a wedding. We spoke to a guy in the office before we went home that Sunday whose name escapes me now, and he told us to call and email someone else and that person would get us quotes. We emailed twice and called twice, no one ever returned our contacts, so we gave up. It's a shame cause if it was anywhere int he range of $130pp plus the site fee we might have been able to do it but I'll never know.

WHAT?! $130 pp?? When I looked into it in mags it said it was at least $250pp, plus site fee (which i know is $10K).

Re: OHEKA?
A friend of ours said he cousin was married there and paid $250 a person plus $10,000. She asked because she knew I was interested. I doubt it was $130 a night UNLESS it was in their cocktail room on a friday in the winter.

Re: OHEKA?
Yea-- I am NOT paying close to 130 pp and either that person got a huge discount because they know someone or are lying.

Re: OHEKA?
i don't think the $130 is accurate because a long time ago a friend of the family got married there and she was already paying more than that like 10 years ago so it has to be more than that now. but like everything in ife, decide what is right for you and what you are willing to spend on each part of the wedding. you might find that you can afford Oheka after all

Re: OHEKA?
hey maybe its like a thursday night in the winter or something.
I know the $ is insane during the peak season though. My cousin got married there and spent over 250pp.
