Yes, you get to pick the suite. Have you looked at them yet??
I'm getting married on Friday night. The price went down quite a bit for that. AND its in November. That was significant too!

I was told that you could pick whatever suite you wanted! I LOVE room 401 it was huge and amazing!! I took my bridesmaids there for dinner the night I asked them to be in the bridal party and that night we got a tour of the rooms and 401 was one of them! My girls where in there jumping up and down when they saw it

I am curious to see the newly renovated suite!?

Re: OHEKA Castle

there are probably so many things i dont know about getting married there. I only saw one suite on my tour; i dont remember all the details but it was the one that has that big rectangle in the ceiling over the bed. I did not even know you could go to dinner. I saw someone else post that they had a brunch the day after. Does everyone get that? They sent me a letter that said they would supply unlimited save the dates for fifty bucks - has anyone seen what they look like?

They told me my parents and fh's parents could go one evening for dinner, but i have not set that up yet. have any of you done that?

so many questions...

Here are some answers to your questions:

The best suite IMO is the one with the balcony. It is absolutely huge and beautiful. You can pick your suite but I would tell them ahead of time which one you want so it is reserved for you.

They have dinner at Oheka twice per month. It is really great. I would do it close to the wedding so you remember what you liked. We went with a bunch of people and it was free.

I don't think they will let you check out other weddings. They may let you come that morning before noon to check stuff out. But definitely not after.

Just curious but with prices like $130 do htey include everything they normally would with their average per plate prices? For instance do you get a dinner with several courses with entrees that you like, does it come with alcohol?

Of course I would not barge into anybody else's wedding while it was going on....I wouldn't want it done to me! I was informed by Rick that I could come any weekend I wanted to check out flowers and stuff before the actual affairs began! I am definitely going to take advantage and try to check out as many as I can for ideas!

As for the dinner they host.....its GREAT! They serve drinks, salad, main course, and dessert(which was amazing) and then you get to go on a full tour of the entire place (a bunch of suites and guest rooms if nobody is staying in them) I've done it twice once with my parents and once with my girls! I would definitely recommend it, if you want to you could do one now and then schedule another one closer to your day......they are so flexible!
